Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil (2) pour utiliser un rayonnage (1), cet appareil (2) de manutention étant déplacé le long de la face frontale du rayonnage et un élément de suspension de charge (3) servant à déposer des marchandises dans des contenants, sur des rayons, des palettes ou des installations analogues ou à les sortir de ceux-ci. Selon l'invention, sur l'appareil (2) de manutention mobile et à proximité immédiate de l'élément de suspension de charge (3) se trouve un dispositif tampon (4) suiveur, qui sert à entreposer des marchandises, des contenants ou des éléments analogues à déposer ou à sortir du dépôt. Ce dispositif tampon (4) sert également de préférence à la réception directe ou à la transmission directe de marchandises et de contenants en provenance de ou vers un point de transfert (5) ou bien en provenance de ou vers le rayonnage (1). Ledit dispositif tampon peut être placé, notamment par déplacement vertical, à une hauteur donnée de l'élément de suspension de charge (3) ou sur un plan déterminé du rayonnage (1) ou du point de transfert (5).
