  • the lip may be provided by a flap separated from the extension covering the face of the strip opposing the flap by a channel and extend in the same general direction as the extension from the main body of the bead.
  • the bead preferably has a diameter sufficient to cause it to be retained by the slot of the slotted tube, being significantly larger than the width of the slot, but is also preferably less than the internal diameter of the slotted tube so that when placed under tension the bead can be drawn into the slot to exert sealing pressure on the flap.

Abstract

L'invention concerne l'assemblage d'un bord d'un tissu filtrant (16) à un élément de bille (12), le bord du tissu présentant des rabats (13, 14) entourant une partie de tissu de renfort (15) fixée sur le tissu filtrant. L'élément de bille (12) comprend également un rabat (17) avec un espace inclus (18) et présente une surface d'étanchéité comprenant un élément de canal de retenue à bord en forme de 'C' (10). La bille (12) est plus large que la fente (11) de l'élément de canal (10) mais plus petite que le diamètre interne de celui-ci. Deux éléments coniques en forme de 'C' peuvent être transportés dos à dos ou par quatre, introduits dans un élément (40), aux fins d'assemblage entre des panneaux filtrants. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, l'élément de bille est elliptique, de manière qu'il puisse être introduit dans un canal selon une orientation déterminée et maintenu après une rotation de 90°. Cet élément de bille peut renfermer un coeur rigide.
