Definitions
- the present invention relates to an apparatus for opening and shutting a flexible sheet, which is installed at the entrance of a large-sized warehouse, a parking place, or the like, and more particularly, to a flexible sheet opening/shutting apparatus improved so that a plurality of guide blocks guiding a flexible sheet so as to be rolled up and down can be stably combined with the lateral edges of the flexible sheet, and that damage of the lateral edges of the flexible sheet can be prevented.
- a shutter that makes the entrances open only upon entrance of vehicles in order to improve the cooling/warming efficiency of the inside and to block external dust or the like.
- the shutter 100 includes a guide channel 120 installed opposite to the entrance of a warehouse of a building.
- a flexible sheet 140 which is non-compressible, is installed on the guide channel 120 lengthwise so as to be movable to a location that can make the entrance open or close.
- the flexible sheet 140 is driven by power received from a driving device 200, which is installed over the guide channel 120, and rolled around a rotating shaft 220.
- a zipper 160 is attached to either end of the flexible sheet 140 lengthwise, and enables the flexible sheet 140 to be easily replaced when it is damaged.
- a guide chain 240 is installed on either lateral edge of the flexible sheet 140 and transmits a driving force to the flexible sheet 140 while interlocking with the driving device 200.
- the guide chain 240 is injection-molded to have bendable joints 241a, 241b, 241c, ... , and includes a plurality of guide members 242a, 242b, 242c, ....
- the guide members 242a, 242b, 242c, ... is composed of body portions 245a, 245b, 245c, ... , each of which has a rectangular shape and a circular cross-section, and protrusions 243a, 243b, 243c, ... , which extend from one side of the body portions 245a, 245b, 245c, respectively, and are joined to the flexible sheet 140.
- 241 b, 241c are formed by the body portions 245a, 245b, 245c, ... and the protrusions 243a, 243b, 243c, ... , and combined thereinto.
- the protrusions 243a, 243b, 243c, ... have a groove 246, into which the flexible sheet 140 is fixed.
- Each of the lateral edges of the flexible sheet 140 is fixed into the groove 246 of the guide members 242a, 242b, 242c, ... and is then combined with the guide members 242a, 242b, 242c, ... using a general method such as a thermal fusion.
- Each of the guide members 242a, 242b, 242c, ... has a connection hole 248 for connecting each of the body portions 245a, 245b,
- a bendable elastic member for example, a wire
- a screw not shown
- such a shutter has the following problems. Firstly, because only the grooves 246 of the guide members 242a, 242b, 242c, ... among the entire portions of the guide chain 240 are coupled to either lateral edge of the flexing sheet 140 and thermally fuse therewith, even a weak impact can easily detach the guide chain 240 from the flexible sheet 140 because of their weak coherence.
- connection holes 248 can be formed by forming the connection holes 248 and inserting a wire or the like into them, the shutter has a complicate structure. Also, even if one of the guide members is separated from the others, all of the guide members must be replaced.
- a first object of the present invention is to provide a flexible sheet opening/shutting apparatus improved so that guide blocks moving along guide channels are stably attached to an edge of a flexible sheet in order not to be easily detached from the flexible sheet due to an external impact.
- a second object of the present invention is to provide a flexible sheet opening/shutting apparatus by which, when an external impact is applied to the edge of a flexible sheet, the flexible sheet is separated from guide channels and rapidly rolled up, and then guide blocks are guided from the upper side of the guide channels.
- a third object of the present invention is to provide a flexible sheet opening/shutting apparatus by which only damaged guide blocks can be replaced without affecting the other normal guide blocks.
- a flexible sheet opening/shutting apparatus including: a flexible sheet opening or shutting the entrance of a place by rolling up and down; guide blocks provided along both lateral edges of the flexible sheet; guide channels provided on both lateral edges of the entrance and having guiding grooves, along which the guide blocks are guided; a driving sprocket interlocking with the guide blocks so as to roll up to open the entrance or roll down to close the entrance; and a roller rolling up the ascending flexible sheet.
- a plurality of combining holes are formed on both side edges of the flexible sheet at intervals.
- the guide blocks include a plurality of first blocks arranged at intervals on one surface of the flexible sheet and interlocking with the driving sprocket and a plurality of second blocks arranged at intervals on the other surface of the flexible sheet, coupled with the corresponding first blocks through the combining holes, and guided together with the first blocks to the guided channels.
- the first blocks are combined with the corresponding second blocks by an injection molding using the combining holes.
- Each of the first blocks has a locking protrusion
- each of the second blocks has a locking hole, into which the locking protrusion fits through each of the combining holes so that the first and second blocks are combined together.
- each of the guide blocks includes a first block and a second block, which have the flexible sheet therebetween and are then combined together.
