Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de baguettes décoratives, notamment de baguettes décoratives d'angle, à partir de mousse de polystyrène extrudée. Selon ce procédé, au moins une surface de la baguette décorative d'angle est façonnée sous l'action de la pression et de la chaleur d'un moule en relief (7) chauffé présentant une couche anti-adhérence. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'on utilise un agent de séparation et, comme matériaux, des panneaux de polystyrène extrudés. Ces panneaux sont respectivement découpés en ébauches sous forme de bandes. Une fois la surface de l'ébauche façonnée par le moule en relief (7), on forme au moins une zone de ramollissement à l'aide d'au moins un chauffage ohmique (17) et d'au moins un dispositif de pliage, cette zone de ramollissement thermiquement ramollie et fondue s'étendant dans le sens longitudinal. Au terme de l'action de la chaleur, cette zone est refroidie et rigidifiée et on obtient un point de pliage (22), avec encrassement de matériau de renforcement, qui divise l'ébauche en un segment central (30) et au moins une branche (15) formant un angle prédéterminé avec le segment central. L'invention concerne également un dispositif permettant de réaliser ce procédé.
