Description

明 細 書 携帯端末の付属品及び携帯端末 技術分野
本発明は、 移動体通信機、 携帯電話、 自動車電話などに代表され る携帯端末の付属品及び携帯端末に関し、 特に携帯端末の装飾に関 する。 背景技術
携帯電話や P H S (パーソナルハンディフォンシステム） などの 携帯通信端末 （単に携帯端末と言う） の普及に伴い、 その外観のフ アツシヨン性が重視されてきている。 これまでも、 携帯端末などの ケ一シングの色彩や光沢にバリエーションを持たせ、 ユーザの好み に合わせて選択できるようなものは普及していたが、 最近は、 ケ一 シングの一部にカラフルなシ一トを貼りつけることにより装飾する ものや、 ケーシングの表部分と裏部分を好みの色彩や模様のものと 交換可能としたものや、 ケ一シングの裏面と表面の一部を覆うカバ 一などが実用化されてきている。 かかる従来例として登録実用新案 第 3 0 5 4 4 1 4号公報に記載されているものがある。
しかし、 かかる従来の装飾の手法では、 携帯端末のケ一シングに 装飾を施すことは可能であるが、 機能が装飾のみに限定され、 例え ば広告 ·宣伝、 情報の伝達など視覚的な伝達機能や、 所定の香りな ど嗅覚的な伝達機能などの他の機能を併せ持たせることができなか つた。 発明の開示
したがって、 本発明は装飾以外の機能を持たせた携帯端末の付属 品及びかかる付属品を有する携帯端末を提供することを目的とする, 上記目的を達成するため、 本発明では携帯端末のケーシングのー 部に着脱可能に透明な付属品を設け、 付属品とケーシングの間に挟 み込んだシートに記載された情報が付属品を通して外部から目視で きるようにしたものである。
すなわち本発明によれば、 携帯端末のケ一シングの一部を覆い、 前記ケーシングに装飾を施す携帯端末の付属品において、
前記付属品と前記ケーシングの間に挟み込んだシー卜に記載され た情報が前記付属品を通して外部から目視できるように前記付属品 が透明で、 かつ前記シートを他のシートと交換可能なように、 前記 付属品が前記携帯端末のケーシングに着脱可能であることを特徴と する携帯端末の付属品が提供される。
この構成により、 付属品により装飾が施されるのみならず、 付属 品とケーシングの間に挟み込んだシートに記載され情報が透明な付 属品を通して外部から目視でき、 種々の情報をユーザに与えること が可能となる。
また本発明によれば、 携帯端末本体のケーシングと、
前記ケーシングの一部に着脱可能に取り付けられた透明な付属品 と、
前記ケーシングと前記付属品の間に保持され、 所定の情報が記載 されているシー卜とを、
有する携帯端末が提供される。
この構成により、 付属品により装飾が施されるのみならず、 付属 品とケーシングの間に挟み込んだシートに記載され情報が透明な付 属品を通して外部から目視でき、 種々の情報をユーザに与えること が可能となる。
また本発明によれば、 携帯端末本体のケーシングと、
前記ケ一シングの一部に回動可能に取り付けられた透明な付属品 と、
前記ケーシングと前記付属品の間に保持され、 所定の情報が記載 されているシー卜とを、
有する携帯端末が提供される。
この構成により、 付属品により装飾が施されるのみならず、 付属 品とケ一シングの間に挟み込んだシートに記載され情報が透明な付 属品を通して外部から目視でき、 種々の情報をユーザに与えること が可能となる。 図面の簡単な説明

以下、 図面を参照して本発明の好ましい実施の形態について説明 する。 図 1は本発明に係る携帯端末の付属品と、 この携帯端末の付 属品が装着される携帯端末を示す分解図である。 図 2は、 図 1の分 解状態から組み立てられた状態を示す図である。 携帯端末のケーシ ング 1 0の裏面には、 透明な携帯端末の付属品 1 4が着脱可能に取 り付けらる。 図 1は分解図であり、 図 2は携帯端末の付属品 1 4が ケーシング 1 0に取り付けられた状態を示している。 ケ一シング 1 0と携帯端末の付属品 1 4の間には、 シート 1 2が挟み込まれてい る。 シート 1 2には、 種々の情報を印刷しておくことにより、 透明 な携帯端末の付属品 1 4を通して外部からこの情報を読み取ること ができる。
また、 このシートに芳香剤、 すなわち香料を含浸させておき、 か つ、 香料の香りを外部に発散させるための通気口を携帯端末の付属 品 1 4に設けておくことにより、 ユーザの好みの香りを与えること が可能となる。 すなわち、 複数の香料をそれぞれ含浸させた複数の シ一ト 1 2を用意しておき、 その日の気分に応じて好みの香りを選 択するよう、 シート 1 2を交換することも可能である。
携帯端末の付属品 1 4は、 無色透明であってもよいし、 適当な色 彩が施された透明であってもよい。 携帯端末の付属品 1 4を着脱可 能とするため、 携帯端末のケ一シング 1 0の外周部分に溝部を設け ておき、 一方携帯端末の付属品 1 4の外周にもケ一シング 1 0の溝 部に係合する凸部を設けておく。 また必要に応じて、 ケーシング 1 0及び 又は携帯端末の付属品 1 4に爪部及びノ又は爪部の係合す る凹部を設けることができる。
シート 1 2には、 必要な文字情報及び Z又は画像情報などを付与 することができる。具体的には、シート 1 2を身分証明書としたり、 バーコードを印刷したりすることができる。 さらに、 携帯端末の付 属品 1 4自体にも様々な工夫を施すことが可能である。 その例とし て、 携帯端末の付属品 1 4にバーコードを印刷したり、 I Cチップ を埋め込んだり、 あるいは携帯端末の付属品 1 4を構成する部材に レンズ機能や、偏光機能を持たせたりすることができる。これらの、 バーコードや I Cチップは、 例えば個人認証などに用いることがで きる。 また、 付属品 1 4にレンズ機能を持たせておけば、 外出先な どで拡大鏡やメガネが必要なときに、 付属品 1 4を取り外して拡大 鏡などの代用とすることができる。 また同様に、 付属品 1 4に偏光 機能を持たせておけば、 水面の光の乱反射などの眩しさなどを低減 するためのボラロイ ドサングラスとして機能させることができる。 図 1、 図 2の例では、 携帯端末の付属品 1 4がケーシング 1 0に 対して着脱可能に取り付けられているが、 他の例として携帯端末の 付属品 1 4の一端をケーシング 1 0に対して回動可能に取り付ける こともできる。 この場合、 携帯端末の付属品 1 4の交換はできない か、 困難であるが、 携帯端末の付属品 1 4を紛失することがないば かりか、 携帯端末の付属品 1 4を回動させて、 ケ一シング 1 0に対 して所定角度に固定すれば、 携帯端末 1 0のスタンドとなる。
図 3は、 携帯端末の付属品 1 4 Aに貫通孔 1 6が設けられている 例を示す図である。 すなわち、 図 1に示すシ一ト 1 2に前述のよう に芳香剤を含ませたものを用いるとき、 芳香剤が携帯端末の付属品 1 4 Aの貫通孔 1 6を介して効果的に外部に流出するので、 香水や オーデコロンとして用いることができる。
図 4は、 本発明の他の実施の形態を示す模式図である。 ケ一シン グ 1 0 Bの上端と下端には、 凹部 1 0 a、 1 0 b、 1 0 c、 1 0 d が設けられている。 一方、 携帯端末の付属品 1 4 Bの上端と下端の 内側にはケーシング 1 0の凹部 1 0 a、 1 0 b、 1 0 c、 1 0 dに 係合可能な凸部 1 4 a、 1 4 b、 1 4 c、 1 4 dが設けられている。 この実施の形態では、 携帯端末の付属品 1 4は、 比較的柔らかい合 成樹脂である、 ポリエチレンなどでできていて弾性変形しやすいの で、 凸部 1 4 a、 1 4 b , 1 4 c , 1 4 dがケーシング 1 0の凹部 1 0 a , 1 0 b'、 1 0 c、 1 0 dに係合するに際し、 弾性変形が生 じ、 係合後は、 ある程度外力を加えないと、 係合を解除することが できないので、 携帯端末の付属品 1 4 Bが容易にケーシング 1 0 B から離脱することはない。
上記実施の形態では、 いわゆる非折り畳み式の携帯端末の場合を 例に取り説明したが、 本発明はこれに限らず、 折り畳み式を含むあ らゆる形状の携帯電話や P H Sを含む携帯端末に適用可能である。 産業上の利用可能性
以上説明したように本発明によれば、 携帯端末のケーシングのー 部に着脱可能に透明な付属品を設け、 付属品とケーシングの間に挟 み込んだシートに記載され情報が付属品を通して外部から目視でき るようにしたので、 装飾以外の、 例えば広告 ·宣伝、 情報の伝達な ど視覚的な伝達機能や、 所定の香りなど嗅覚的な伝達機能などの他 の機能を持たせた携帯端末の付属品及びかかる付属品を有する携帯 端末を提供することができる。 また、 シートに芳香剤を含ませ、 付 属品に貫通孔を設けることにより、 香料が効果的に発散されるよう 構成することができる。 さらに付属品を着脱可能とせず、 ケーシン グに対して回動可能に取り付けることもでき、 この場合付属品は、 携帯端末のスタンドとして機能することとなる。さらに付属品には、 I Cチップを埋め込んだり、 レンズ機能をもたせるなど、 付加的機 能を持たせることもできる。

請 求 の 範 囲
1 . 携帯端末のケ一シングの一部を覆い、 前記ケ一シングに装 飾を施す携帯端末の付属品において、
前記付属品と前記ケーシングの間に挟み込んだシートに記載され た情報が前記付属品を通して外部から目視できるように前記付属品 が透明で、 かつ前記シートを他のシートと交換可能なように、 前記 付属品が前記携帯端末のケーシングに着脱可能であることを特徴と する携帯端末の付属品。
2 . 前記付属品を通して前記シートに含浸させた香料の香りを 外部に発散させるための通気口が設けられていることを特徴とする 請求項 1に記載の携帯端末の付属品。
3 . 前記付属品が前記携帯端末のケ一シングと同系の色彩を施 されているものであることを特徴とする請求項 1に記載の携帯端末 の付属品。
4 . 携帯端末本体のケーシングと、
前記ケーシングの一部に着脱可能に取り付けられた透明な付属品 と、
前記ケ一シングと前記付属品の間に保持され、 所定の情報が記載 されているシ一トとを、
有する携帯端末。
5 . 携帯端末本体のケーシングと、 前記ケーシングの一部に回動可能に取り付けられた透明な付属品 と、
前記ケーシングと前記付属品の間に保持され、 所定の情報が記載 されているシートとを、
有する携帯端末。
6 . 前記付属品を通して前記シートに含浸させた香料の香りを 外部に発散させるための通気口が設けられていることを特徴とする 請求項 4又は 5に記載の携帯端末。
7 . 前記付属品が前記携帯端末のケーシングと同系の色彩を 施されているものであることを特徴とする請求項 4又は 5に記載の 携帯端末。
