Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif chirurgical ophthalmologique qui fait appel à une unité de commande de sécurité à sortie laser (33) pour réduire un faisceau laser visible en une zone à longueur d'onde variant du vert au bleu émis par une première diode laser (36) à un niveau de sécurité qui n'endommage pas la rétine. Le faisceau laser est émis dans un oeil à partir d'une sonde d'endo-illumination en forme de fibre (10), l'extrémité de la pointe présentant une forme fuselée. Ainsi, le faisceau laser peut non seulement être utilisé comme faisceau lumineux pour la FAG (angiographie à la fluorescéine) de manière à permettre une ophthalmoscopie efficace et positive, mais permet également une ophthalmoscopie efficace et positive par la FAG même lors d'une opération faisant appel à une source lumineuse (30) intégrant une source lumineuse d'éclairage dans une source lumineuse chirurgicale.
