Abstract

An ophthalmological surgery device which uses a laser output safety control unit (33) to reduce a visible laser beam in a green-to-blue wavelength region output from a first laser diode (36) to such a safety level that does not damage the retina. The laser beam is emitted into an eye from a fiber-shaped endoillumination probe (10) with the tip end thereof worked into a bullet shape. The laser beam thus not only can be used as a lighting beam for FAG to enable an efficient and positive funduscopy, but also permits an efficient and positive funduscopy by FAG even during an operation due to one light source (30) integrating a lighting light source with a surgery light source.
