- a fluid dispenser device In most fluid dispensing devices, whether in the field of pharmacy, perfumery, cosmetics, or even other neighboring fields, the product is generally expelled by means of an actuating force performed axially. Particularly with pumps, this force is often exerted by the user by pressing with his thumb on the bottom of the device and holding the head of the device which incorporates the dispensing orifice with other fingers of the same hand.
- This type of dispensing device provides a certain number of drawbacks, in particular in the case of nasal applications, since it often creates an axial displacement of the entire device at the time of actuation, in particular due to the resistance that supplies the pump during actuation.
- the user has to force on the bottom of the device to achieve this actuation, and at the moment it takes place, part of the force is released so that the user's arm or hand can be drawn into it.

- known lateral actuation dispensing devices the transfer of the radial force exerted by the user into an axial force allowing actuation is not total, so that the user must press harder in a device with lateral actuation that it would not be obliged to do so if it exerted an axial pressure. The user must then either exert a significant force, which is not always possible, in particular with children or the elderly, or else provision must be made for actuation means of sufficiently large size to allow easier transfer.

- the present invention therefore relates to a device for dispensing a fluid product comprising a product reservoir, a pump mounted on the reservoir for selectively distributing the product, and a dispensing head connected to said pump and incorporating a dispensing orifice, characterized in that said device comprises at least two lateral actuating elements distributed around said dispensing head, said lateral actuating elements being moved simultaneously in a direction approximately transverse to the central axis of the device, and each cooperating with a peripheral edge of said reservoir to exert an axial force thereon.
- each lateral actuating element is integral with said dispensing head.
- each lateral actuating element is produced in the form of an elastically deformable lever connected on the one hand to the dispensing head and cooperating on the other hand with the peripheral edge of the reservoir.
- each lateral actuating element comprises a cam surface cooperating with the lower edge of the tank.
- the cam surface is an inclined plane whose slope varies during the movement of the actuating elements, said slope being maximum at the start of actuation and minimum at the end of actuation so that the transfer of the radial force exerted by the user on the actuating elements in axial force of displacement of the reservoir is maximum at the end of actuation.
- said lateral actuation elements return elastically to their rest position.
- said lateral actuation elements are brought back to their rest position by the reservoir returning to its respective rest position.
- said peripheral edge of said reservoir is the lower peripheral edge.

- An essential advantage of the present invention consists in the simultaneous use of two or more actuating elements distributed around the device. Indeed, this allows to multiply the force necessary to activate the device which makes the use easier for elderly people or children, or more generally any weak person.
- the presence of two or more lateral actuating elements allows better ergonomics and improved safety of use. In fact, when the user simultaneously exerts the same force on these lateral actuating elements, the device is not subjected to any radial stress during actuation and therefore does not risk being moved in a radial direction, as may be the case. case with the lateral actuation device in which the user presses only on a lateral actuation element.
- the device may include more than two lateral actuating elements, for example three or four, distributed around the device.
- the peripheral edge with which each lateral actuating element cooperates is not necessarily the lower edge, and is not necessarily formed by a sharp edge either, but could on the contrary be an inclined edge corresponding to the surface of the actuating elements.
