Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen luftgekühlten Elektromotor, insbesondere einem Linearmotor, bei in einem geschlossenen Gehäuse (50) ein Modulblock aus einem Wicklungskörper (10) und darauf aufgebrachten Wicklungen (20) enthalten ist. Kühlluft wird über einen Lufteinlass (52) in das Gehäuse eingeleitet und umströmt dort die Wicklungen (20) und wird in dem Bereich der Wicklungen in Zahnlücken des Wicklungskörpers (10) gerichtet. Auf diese Weise ergibt sich eine effiziente Kühlung der wärmeerzeugenden Bereiche des Primärteils. Desweiteren wird ein Verfahren zum Herstellen des Primärteils beschrieben, bei dem ein Gehäuse mit einer Vergussmasse beschichtet wird, der Modulblock in die Vergussmasse teilweise eingebettet wird, und das Gehäuse durch eine Abdeckung geschlossen wird, die ebenfalls eine Schicht aus Vergussmasse auf der zum Gehäuseinneren weisenden Fläche trägt. Bei einem alternativen Verfahren wird der Wicklungsbereich des Wicklungskörpers in eine erste Formmasse eingebettet. Anschließend wird der Wicklungskörper mit der ersten Formmasse in eine zweite Formmasse eingebettet, die einen höheren Schmelzpunkt als die erste Formmasse aufweist. Das so entstandene Gebilde wird dann soweit aufgeheizt, dass die erste Formmasse schmilzt und aus dem Inneren der zweiten Formmasse abgeführt wird. Die so entstehenden Hohlräume bilden Gasein- bzw. -auslässe und Gasströmungswege zur Luftkühlung des Inneren des Primärteils.
