Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine organische Licht emittierende Diode (OLED) (1) oder auch Leuchtdiode genannt, die zumindest ein Substrat (11), eine Anode (8), eine Lochtransportschicht, eine emittierende Schicht (6), eine Kathode (5) und eine Verkapselung (12) umfasst. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass in die OLED ein Energieträger (2) integriert wird, über den die Spannung, die die OLED zum Leuchten bringt, geliefert wird. Der Energieträger kann eine Batterie (Energiespeicher) oder ein Energiewandler (photovoltaisches Element) sein.
