Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zur Abtastung einer Szene umfasst üblicherweise einen Sendeteil zum Aussenden und Ablenken eines die Szene abtastenden Abtaststrahls und einen Empfangsteil zur Detektion eines aus dem Abtaststrahl resultierenden Reflexionsstrahls. Die horizontale und vertikale Ablenkung des als Lichtstrahl ausgesendeten Abtaststrahls erfolgt dabei mittels zweier planparalleler Prismen, die um zueinander senkrechte Rotationsachsen rotieren und durch Brechung des Abtaststrahls eine Verschiebung der optischen Achse des Sendeteils bewirken. Die neue Vorrichtung soll kostengünstig und platzsparend realisierbar sein. Die neue Vorrichtung weist ein rotierendes Prisma mit mehreren um unterschiedliche Neigungswinkel gegen die Rotationsachse geneigten Seitenflächen auf. Während des Abtastvorgangs wird der Abtaststrahl beim Eintritt in das Prisma und beim Austritt aus dem Prisma an jeweils einer der Seitenflächen gebrochen und im Inneren des Prismas an einer der Seitenflächen durch Totalreflexion abgelenkt. Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Neigungswinkel der Seitenflächen wird der Abtaststrahl während der Rotation des Prismas in mehreren Zeilen über die Szene bewegt.
