Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zum Analysieren eines Audiosignals hinsichtlich von Rhythmusinformationen des Audiosignals unter Verwendung einer Autokorrelationsfunktion umfaßt eine Filterbank zum Zerlegen des Audiosignals in zumindest zwei Teil-bandsignale. Die Teilbandsignale werden hinsichtlich von Peri-odizitäten mittels einer Autokorrelationsfunktion untersucht (106a), um Rhythmus-Rohinformationen für die zumindest zwei Teilbandsignale zu erhalten. Um die Mehrdeutigkeiten der Auto-korrelationsfunktion für periodische Signale zu verringern oder zu eliminieren, werden die Rhythmus-Rohinformationen nachbearbeitet (121), um nachbearbeitete Rhythmus-Rohinformationen für das Teilbandsignal zu erhalten. Die Rhythmusinformationen des Audiosignals werden auf der Basis der nachbearbeiteten Rhythmus-Rohinformationen ermittelt (122). Durch die teilbandweise AKF-Nachverarbeitung werden AKF-Mehrdeutigkeiten bereits dort, wo sie entstehen, elimi-niert, bzw. werden Rhythmusanteile bei doppelten Tempi, die eine Autokorrelationsfunktionsverarbeitung normalerweise nicht liefert, hinzugefügt, so daß sich als Resultat eine robustere Bestimmung der Rhythmus-Informationen des Audiosignals ergibt.
