Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de transport et de distribution de petits paquets et/ou d'enveloppes contenant du courrier et des messages en général, en utilisant le réseau métropolitain suburbain. Ce système comprend des wagons (1) dûment conditionnés pour soutenir des paquets contenant des expéditions et du courrier général, ou des wagons mixtes (1') comprenant une zone destinée aux passagers et une autre zone destinée aux paquets, ces deux zones étant séparées l'une de l'autre par une cloison transversale et intermédiaire (6'). Les wagons (1) ou (1') sont accrochés au train des passagers du réseau de transport métropolitain et transportent des paquets d'un endroit à un autre endroit. Dans chaque gare se trouvent des bureaux de classement situés, soit dans le tunnel même, soit en surface. Entre ces bureaux et les wagons, des moyens de transport, tels que des transporteurs à courroie, sont placés à même les quais, sans qu'ils perturbent la circulation des passagers. A partir de ces bureaux de classement, les paquets sont distribués au moyen d'un réseau de distribution constitué de véhicules légers autopropulsés.
