背 景 技 術
例 え ば 自 動 車 の 塗装面 は 、 走行 中 等 に 大気 中 の埃や煤 煙、 油 粒子等 の 汚 染原 因 物 質 が 付着 し 、 し か も 、 太陽光 、 雨水 、 空気等 の 塗装 面 を 劣化 さ せ る 原 因 要 素 に 常 に 曝 さ れ て い る 。 こ の た め 、 自 動 車 の 塗装面 を 綺麗 に維持 し 、 ま た 、 そ の 劣化 速度 を で き る だ け 遅 く し て 長期 間 に 亘 っ て 良 好 な 状態 に 維持 す る た め に は 、 自 動 車 の 塗装面 か ら 汚れ を 取 り 去 る 洗浄作業 と 、 汚れ を 取 り 除 い た 後 の 塗装 面 に ヮ ッ ク ス ゃ シ リ コ ン オ イ ル等 を 主成分 と す る 撥水性 ゃ艷 出 し性等 に 優れ た 保護皮 膜 を 形成せ し め る 、 い わ ゆ る ヮ ッ ク ス 力 s け 作業 と 力 欠 力 せ な い と さ れ て レ、 る 。 し カゝ し な が ら 、 こ れ ら 自 動 車 の 洗浄作業や ワ ッ ク ス が

と こ ろ で 、 こ の よ う な 自 動 車の 塗装 面 に 対 す る 洗浄作 業及 び ヮ ッ ク ス が け 作業 と い う 面倒 で煩雑 な 作業 を 改善 す る た め 、 こ の洗浄作業 と ワ ッ ク ス が け 作業 と を 同 時 に 行 う こ と が で き る 自 動車用 の 洗浄撥水剤 も 提案 さ れ て い る ( f列 え は、、 特 開 平 11 -279, 490 号、 特開 平 11-116, 988 号、 特 開 平 11-106, 708 号、 特 開 平 9- 310, 094 号、 特 開 平 8— 183, 949 号、 特開 平 6— 145, 603 号等 の 各公報)。 し 力 し な 力 S ら 、 こ れ ら 各公報記載 の 洗浄撥 水剤 は 、 そ れ に よ つ て 形成 さ れ る 保護皮膜が い ずれ も 撥水性ゃ艷 出 し 性等 を 目 的 と し た親油 性皮膜で あ り 、 簡 単 な 洗浄作業 で は 塗装 面 か ら 落 ち 難 く て 頑 固 な 汚 れ の 原 因 に な る と い う 問題 は 依然 と し て解消 さ れて い な レヽ。
そ こ で 、 本発 明者 ら は 、 洗浄時 に は簡 単 な 作業 で塗装 面 カゝ ら 汚れ を 落 と す こ と が で き 、 し 力 も 、 洗浄 と 同 時 に 塗装 面 の 表 面 に 防汚性 に 優 れ た保護 皮膜 を 形 成 し て 汚 れ
難 く す る こ と が で き る 硬質表 面用 の 洗浄剤 に つ い て鋭意 検討 し た 結果、 特定の 洗浄成分 と 、 こ の洗浄成分 と 共 に 硬質表面 に適用 さ れて こ の硬質表面 に親水性 の保護皮膜 を形成す る 皮膜形成物質 と 、 形成 さ れ る 保護皮膜の密着 性 を 向 上せ し め る バイ ン ダ一成分 と を含む組成物が 洗浄 剤 と して適 してい る こ と を見 出 し 、 本発明 を完成 し た。
従 っ て 、 本発 明 の 目 的 は、 洗浄時 に は簡 単な作業で塗 装面カゝ ら 汚れ を 落 と す こ と が で き 、 しカゝ も 、 洗浄 と 同 時 に塗装面 の表面 に防汚性に優 れた保護皮膜を 形成す る こ と が で ぎ る 硬質表面用 洗浄剤 組成物 を提供す る こ と に あ る 。
ま た 、 本発 明 の 目 的 は 、 洗浄作業後 に ワ ッ ク ス が け を し て撥水性ゃ艷出 し性等 に優 れた保護皮膜を設 け て も 、 次 の 洗浄時 に は こ の保護皮膜 を簡 単な 洗浄作業で容易 に 落 と す こ と が で き る 硬質表面用 洗浄剤組成物 を提供す る こ と ίこ あ る 。 発 明 の 開 示
す な わ ち 、 本発 明 は、 両性界 面活性剤 、 ァ ニ オ ン界面活 性剤 、 ノ ニ オ ン界面活性剤 、 金属封鎖剤、 及び水溶性溶 剤 か ら 選 ばれ た 1 種又 は 2 種以上の 洗浄成分 と 、 こ の 洗 浄成分 と 共 に硬質表面 に 適用 さ れて こ の硬質表面 に親水 性の保護皮膜 を形成す る 皮膜形成物質 と 、 こ の皮膜形成 物質 に よ り 形成 さ れ る 保護皮膜の密着性を 向 上せ し め る バイ ン ダー成分 と を含む、 防 汚性能 を有す る 硬質表面用 洗浄剤組成物で あ る 。
こ こ で 、 親水性 の保護皮膜 と は 、 皮膜形成物質 に よ り 形成 さ れ る 保護皮膜が水 に 濡 れ る 性質 を 有す る と い う こ と で あ り 、 保護皮膜 の 接触角 に つ い て は 、 6 5 ° 以 下 、 好 ま し く は 6 0. ° 以下 で あ る 。 こ の 接触角 が 6 5 ° よ り 大 き い と 、 防汚性能 が著 し く 低下 す る 。 な お 、 保 護皮膜 の 接触角 の 値 は 、 接触角 精密測 定装置 ( 協和 化学社製 : CA- 1 型 ) を 用 い 、 水滴下量 0 . 0 4 m 1 及 び 温度 ( 室 温 : 25°C ) の 条件で測定 し た結果で あ る 。

上記皮 膜形成 物 質 が 粉末状 で あ る 場合 、 好 ま し く は そ の 平均粒径が l nm 以 上 3 0 / m 以 下 、 よ り 好 ま し く は 1 nm 以 上 5 μ πι 以 下 で あ り 、比表 面積 が 1 O m 2 /g 以 上 1 0 0 0 m 2 /g 以 下 、 好 ま し く は 1 5 ra 2 /g 以 上 8 0 0 tn 2 /g 以 下 で あ る 。 平 均粒径 が 1 nra よ り 小 さ い も の は性能的 に は 問題 な い が そ の 入手が 難 し く 、 反対 に 、 3 0 μ m よ り 大 き く な る と 塗 装面 を 損傷 し 、 ま た 、 保護皮 膜の 透 明 性 が 失 われ る 。 ま た 、 比表面積が 1 0 m 2 / g よ り 小 さ レ、 と 充 分 な 防汚性能 を 発 揮せ し め る こ と が 難 し く な り 、 1 0 0 0 m2 /g よ り 大 き い も の はそ の入手が 難 し い。
こ の皮膜形成 物質 の添加量 に つ い て は 、 通 常 0 . 0 5 質量%以上 4 0 質量%以下、 好 ま し く は 0 . 1 質量%以上 2 0 質量%以下 で あ り 、 0 . 0 5 質量%よ り 少 な い と 、 所望 の 洗浄性能 を 発揮せ し め る こ と が難 し く な り 、 反対 に 、 4 0 質量%よ り 多 く な る と 、 形成 さ れ る 保護皮膜が 白 く 、 ボ ケ た感 じ に な り 、 例 え ば 自 動車 の 塗装面 に 使用 し た 場 合 に そ の外観 を 損 な う 場合が あ る 。
本発 明 に お い て 、 皮膜形成物 質 に よ り 形成 さ れ る 保護 皮 膜 の 硬 質表 面 へ の密着性 を 向 上せ し め る バ イ ン ダ一 成 分 と し て は 、 例 え ば天然 ワ ッ ク ス 、 合成 ワ ッ ク ス 、 有機 系 樹脂 、 及 び シ リ コ ー ン類等 が 挙 げ ら れ、 こ れ ら は そ の 1 種 の み を 単独 で使用 で き る ほ か 、 2 種以 上 の 混合物 と し て 用 レヽ る こ と も で き る 。 こ の ノく イ ン ダー成分 は 、 単 に 形成 さ れ る 保護 皮膜の 硬 質表 面 へ の 密 着性 を 向 上せ し め る だ け で な く 、 例 え ば皮膜形成物質 が 粉末 で あ る 場合 に は 、 粉末 の 各粒 子 間 を 結合 し て 保護皮 膜そ の も の を 形成
す る 作用 を も 有す る 。

こ の よ う な ノく ィ ン ダ一 成 分 の 添力 P 量 に つ い て は 、 通 常 0 . 0 2 質量。/。以 上 1 5 質量。/。以 下 、 好 ま し く は 0 . 0 5 質 量 0/。以 上 7 . 5 質 量%以 下 で あ り 、 こ の 添力 B 量力; 0 . 0 2 質量%よ り 低 い と 、防汚性 に つ い て 所望 の 持続効果 を 得 る こ と が で き ず 、 ま た 、 1 5 質 量 0/。を 超 え る と 、 ノく イ ン ダ 一 成 分 の 多 く は 有機物 で あ り 、排気煤等 の 付着 を 助 長 し 、 形成 さ れ る 保護 皮膜 中 に含 ま れ る 皮膜'形成物 質 の 添加 比 率 が 減少 し 、 形成 さ れ る 保護皮膜 に つ い て 所望 の 親水性 を 得 る こ と が で き な く な っ て 防汚性能 が 低 下す る の で 好 ま し く な い。 こ の バ イ ン ダー成分 の 添加 量 は 、 皮 膜形成 物質の 添加量の 半分以下が好 ま し い。

更 に 、 本発 明 に お い て は 、 製剤 さ れ た 水 中 油 型 エ マ ル ジ ョ ン の 安 定性 を 向 上 さ せ る た め に 、 こ の 種 の 水 中 油 型 エ マ ノレ ジ ョ ン製剤 に お い て 汎用 さ れ て い る 乳 化安 定剤 を 所定 の 範囲 内 で 添力 D し て も よ く 、 例 え ば、 両性界 面活性 剤 、 ァ ニ オ ン 界 面活性剤 、 ノ ニ オ ン 界 面活性剤 、 シ リ コ ー ン 界 面活性剤 、 及 び增 粘剤 か ら'選 ばれ た 1 種又 は 2 種 以 上 の 乳化安 定剤 を 0 . 0 2 質量。/。以 上 3 0 質量%以 下 、 好 ま し く は 0 . 1 質量。/。以上 5 質量%以 下 の 範 囲 内 で添加 す る 。
ま た 、 本発 明 に お い て は、 こ の 種 の 水 中 油 型エ マ /レ ジ ョ ン 製剤 に お い て 汎用 さ れ て い る 防腐剤 ■ 防黴剤 、 例 え ば芳香族 ヒ ド ロ キ シ化合物 、有機酸 の 金属 塩 、安息 香酸 、 サ リ チル酸、 ノヽ。 ラ ヒ ド ロ キ シ安 息香酸エ ス テ ノレ 、 ベ ン ゾ イ ソ チ ア ゾ ニ オ ン 、 メ チ ル イ ソ チ ア ゾ ニ オ ン 等 を所定 の 割合 、 例 え ば 0 . 0 1 質 量%以 上 5 質 量。/。以 下 、 好 ま し く は 0 . 0 5 質 量%以 上 2 質量。/。以 下 の 範囲 内 で 添加 し て も よ く 、 こ れに よ っ て 製品 の長期保存性が 改善 さ れ る 。
な お 、 本発 明 の 硬 質表 面用 洗浄剤組成物 に は 、 上記 以 外 に 、 例 え ば作業性や仕 上 げ性 、 研磨性、 滑性、 光沢性 等 の 性能 向 上 を 目 的 に 、 従来公知 の 他 の 添加 剤 を そ れ ぞ れそ の 目 的 に応 じ て 添力 Bす る こ と が で き る 。
本発明 の硬質表面用 洗浄剤組成物の調製は 、 上記各成 分 を 用 い て従来 の 方法 に よ り 容易 に行 う こ と がで き 、 典 型的 に は、 油性溶剤 中 に 油溶性成分 を溶解 さ せ 、 次 い で 水以外 の添加物 を均一 に 分散 さ せた後、 水 を 添加 し て均 — に混合 し 、ェマ ル ジ ョ ン ィ匕 さ せ る こ と に よ り 行わ れ る 。
本発明 の硬質表面用洗浄剤組成物は、 屋外 に露出 し て 埃ゃ水 ァ 力 、 '油汚れ、 鳥 の翼等の汚れ が付着 す る 種々 の 硬質表面 を洗浄 し 、 ま た 、 洗浄後に こ の よ う な汚れが硬 質表面 に付着 し て例 え ば塗装面等 を損傷す る の を未然 に 防止す る た め に 用 い ら れ る も の であ り 、 実際 の使用 に 際 し て は、 従来の洗浄剤 ( ク リ ー ナー ) と 同様 に 、 ス ポ ン ジ 、タ オ ル等 を用 い て洗浄剤組成物 を硬質表面 に塗布 し 、 次 い で適当 な時間放置 し て乾燥 さ せ、 そ の後 に 夕 ォ ル等 の布ゃ不織布等 を用 い.て拭取 り 作業 を行え ばよ い。
ま た 、 上記の よ う な 洗浄作業後 に ワ ッ ク ス が け を し て 撥水性ゃ艷出 し性等 に優れた保護皮膜を設 け て も 、 次 の 洗浄時 に は ワ ッ ク ス が け で形成 さ れた皮膜 と 共 に こ の保 護皮膜 を簡単な 洗浄作業 で容易 に落 と す こ と が で き る の で、 本発 明 の硬質表面用 洗浄剤組成物 は、 ワ ッ ク ス が け の 前の 洗浄に用 レ、 る 洗浄剤 と し て も 好適 に使用 す る こ と 力 S で き る 。
本発明 の硬質表面用洗浄剤組成物は、 自 動車等の車両 の塗装面や ホ イ ー ル及び /又 は ホ イ 一 ル カ バ ー、 建物 の 手摺、 橋梁の欄干、 自 動販売機等の屋外設置物、 船舶 の 塗装面等の 、 特 に屋外 に露出 す る 硬質表面に 適用 で き る も の で あ る が、 塗装面 に対す る 保護性能 に優れて い る の
で 、 特 に 自 動車等 の 車両 の 塗装面や ホ イ ー ル 及び /又 は ホ イ 一 ル カ バ ー に 用 い る 洗浄剤組成物 と し て好適で あ る 発明 を実施す る た め の最良の形態 以下、 実施例及び比較例 に基づ い て 、 本発 明 の好適 な 実施の形態 を具体的 に説明す る 。

上記各実施例及 び比較 例 で得 ら れ た 洗浄剤 組成物 を 、 白 色 塗装板上 に ス ポ ン ジ を 用 い て 塗布 し 、次 い で室 温( '2 5 °C ) で 3 0 分放置 し 、 表 面 が 白 く な る ま で 乾燥 さ せ た 後 、 タ オル を 用 い て拭 き 取 り 、 保護皮膜 を 形成 し た。
こ の よ う に し て 得 ら れ た 保護皮膜 を 有す る 白 色 塗装板 上 に 、 デ ィ ーゼノレ エ ン ジ ン 車 の マ フ ラ ー 部 よ り 採取 し た 排気煤 を 水 に 分散 さ せ て 得 ら れた 汚水 を ミ ス ト 状 に し て 吹 き 付 け 、 次 い で 7 0 °C で焼 き 付 け る カゝ、 若 し く は 2 週 間屋外暴露 を 行 い 、 汚れ の 付 着 具合 を 目 視 に て 観察 し 、 結果 を ◎ : 汚れ の 付着 が 見 ら れ な い 、 〇 : 若干 の 汚れ の
付着 が 見 ら れ る 、 △ : ワ ッ ク ス 等何 も 塗布 し な い 塗装状 態 と 同程度 の 汚れが付着す る 、 X : ワ ッ ク ス 等何 も 塗布 し な い塗装状態以上に汚 れが 付着す る の 、 4 段階で評価 し た。
[ 防汚持続性 ]
上記の よ う に し て得 ら れ た保護皮膜 に つ い て、 上記塗 同様 の屋外暴露 を行 い 、 汚れ の付着具合 を 目 視に て観察 し 、 上記防汚性評価〇 ( 若干 の汚れ の付着 が見 ら れ る ) 以上 の状態が ど の程度の 期 間持続す る か を調 べ、 ◎ : 2 ヶ 月 以上持続 し た 、 〇: 1 ヶ 月 以上 2 ヶ 月 未満持続 し た 、 X : 1 ヶ 月 未満であ つ た の 3 段階で評価 した。
[ 洗浄性 ]
試験 1 (浸透性試験)
未精鍊 キ ャ ン バ ス .を一辺 1 イ ン チ の正方形 に切 り 取 つ て 得 ら れた試験片 を上記各実施例及び比較例 の洗浄剤組 成物上 に浮かべ、 それが 沈降す る ま での時間 を測定す る キ ャ ンバ ス 法に よ り 行 っ た。 結果は沈降す る ま で の 時 間 が短レ、 ほ ど浸透性に優れて い る こ と に な る 。
試験 2 (洗浄力試験)
自 動 車の 白 色塗装面 に 自 動 車のマ フ ラ ー部 よ り 採取 し た排気煤 を吹 き 付け 、 7 0 °C で 2 時間焼付 け 処理 を し た も の と 、 1 力 月 洗車せず に屋外に放置 した 自 動車の 白 色 塗装面 と を試験塗装面 と し 、 こ の試験塗装面 に 上記各実 施例及ぴ比較例 の洗浄剤組成物 を滴下 し、 3 0 秒後 に 力 を力 B えず拭き 上げ、 白色度の 回復度 を評価 した。
上記 2 つ の試験 1 及び 2 の 結果 を総合的 に判断 し て 洗
浄性能 と し、 ◎ : 完全に 汚れ が落 ち た 、 〇 : 大部分 の 汚 れが 落 ち た 、 △ : カゝ な り 汚れ が残 る 、 X : 汚れが 落 ち な い の 三段階で評価 した。
以 上 の 防汚性、 防汚持続性、 及び洗浄性の 評価結果 を 表 1 に示す。
な お 、 表 1 中 の実施例 6 の 洗浄剤組成物 に つ い て 、 そ の接触角 を測定 した結果 は 4 7 . 5 ° であ っ た。
表 1 に 示す結果か ら 明 ら か な よ う に 、 本発明 の実施例 1 〜 1 0 に係 る 洗浄剤組成物 は 、 防汚性、 防汚持続性及 び洗浄性 の い ずれの性能 に お い て も 、 優れた性能 を 有 す る の に対 し、 比較例 1 〜 5 の 洗浄剤組成物 は 、 そ の い ず れ か の性能 に お い て不足 し 、 本発明 の洗浄剤組成物 が洗 浄 と 同 時 に塗装面の表面 に 防汚性 に優れた保護皮膜 を 形 成す る こ と が分か る 。

本発 明 の 硬質表 面用 洗浄剤組成 物 に よ れ ば 、 洗浄時 に は簡 単 な 作業 で 塗装 面 か ら 汚 れ を 落 と す こ と が で き 、 し か も 、 洗浄 と 同 時 に 塗装 面 の 表 面 に 防 汚性 に 優れ た保護 皮膜 を 形成 す る こ と が で き る 。 ま た 、 こ の よ う な 洗浄作 業後 に ワ ッ ク ス が け を し て 撥 水性 ゃ艷 出 し性等 に優れ た 保護皮 膜 を 設 け て も 、 次 の 洗浄時 に は ワ ッ ク ス が け で 形 成 さ れ た 皮 膜 と 共 に こ の保護皮膜 を 簡 単 な 洗浄作業 で 容 易 に 落 と す こ と が で き 、 ワ ッ ク ス 力 S け の 前 の 洗浄 に 用 い る 洗浄剤 と し て も 好適 に使用 す る こ と が で き る 。
Claims
( 1 ) 両性 界 面活性剤 、 ァ ニ オ ン 界 面活性剤 、 ノ ニ オ ン 界 面活性剤 、 金属 封鎖剤 、 及 び水溶性溶剤 か ら 選 ばれ た 1 種又 は 2 種 以 上 の 洗浄成 分 と 、 こ の 洗浄成 分 と 共 に 硬 質 表 面 に 適 用 さ れ て こ の 硬 質表 面 に 親水性 の ί呆護皮膜 を 形 言
成す る 皮 膜形成 物質 と 、 こ の 皮膜形成物 質 に よ り 形成 さ れ る 保護 皮膜 の 密着性 を 向 上せ し め る ノく イ ン ダー成 分 と を含 む こ と を 特徴 と す る 防汚性能 を 有 す る 硬 質表 面用 洗 浄剤組成物。
(2) 皮膜形成物 質 が 、 金属 酸化物 、 無機多孔 質粉末、 有 機多孔質粉末 、 親水性官能基 を 有す る 変性 シ リ コ ー ン 、 親水性官 能基 を 有す る 天然 ポ リ マ ー 及 びそ の 部分変性物 及び親水性官 能基 を 有す る 合成 ポ リ マ ー か ら 選 ばれ た 1 種又 は 2 種以 上 の 混合物 で あ る 請求項 1 に 記載の 防汚性 能 を 有す る 硬質表面用 洗浄剤組成物。
(3) 金属 酸化物 が 、 酸化亜飴 で あ る 請求項 1 又 は 2 に 記 載の 防汚性能 を 有す る 硬質表面用 洗浄剤組成物。
(4) 皮 膜形成物 質 が 粉 末状 で あ り 、 そ の 平均粒径が 1 nm 〜 3 Ο μ ιη で あ っ て 、 比表 面積 が 1 0 〜 1 0 0 0 m 2 /g で あ る 請求 項 2 又 は 3 に 記載 の 防汚性能 を 有す る 硬質表 面 用 洗浄剤 組成物。
(5) バ イ ン ダ ー 成 分 が 、 天然 ワ ッ ク ス 、 合成 ワ ッ ク ス 、 有機 系 樹脂 、 及 び シ リ コ ー ン類 か ら 選 ばれ た 1 種又 は 2 種以 上 の 混合物 で あ る 請求項 1 〜 4 の いずれ か に記載 の 防汚性能 を有す る 硬質表 面用 洗浄剤組成物。 ·
(6) 洗浄成分 0 . 0 5 〜 3 0 質量%、 皮膜形成物質 0 .
0 5 〜 4 0 質量。/。、 及びバ イ ン ダ ー成分 0 . 0 2 〜 1 5 質 量 ° /。を 含 む請 求項 1 〜 5 の いずれか に 記載の 防汚性能 を 有す る 硬質表面用 洗浄剤組成物。
(7) 両性界面活性剤、 ァ ニ オ ン界面活性剤、 ノ ニ オ ン界 面活性剤 、 シ リ コ ー ン界面活性剤 、 及び增粘剤 か ら 選 ば れた 1 種又は 2 種以上の乳化安 定剤 を 0 . 0 2 〜 3 0 質 量。/。の 範 囲 内 で含有す る 請求項 1 〜 6 の いずれ か に記載 の防汚性能 を 有す る 硬質表面用 洗浄剤組成物。
(8) 硬質表面 が 自 動車の塗装面、 ホ イ ー ル 、 又 はホ イ 一 ル カ バー で あ る 請求項 1 〜 7 の いずれかに記載の 防汚性 能を有す る 硬質表面用 洗浄剤組.成物。
