Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Aufbereitung von Schlacken, die bei der Stahlerzeugung und/oder der Stahlbearbeitung entstehen und die kontinuierlich oder diskontinuierlich abgezogen, in einen ersten Auffangbehälter geleitet und schliesslich nach Verfestigung gelagert oder weiterverarbeitet werden. Erfindungsgemäss sollen die Schlacken aus einem ersten Auffangbehälter (10) in flüssiger Form im freien Fall auf oder in eine gekühlte, vorzugsweise wassergekühlte, Brech- und/oder Pralleinrichtung (12) vergossen werden, von wo aus sie schwerkraftbedingt in granulierter Form in einen zweiten Auffangbehälter (14) fallen.
