Abstract
PURPOSE:The titled device by which scum is thrown into water via disc rotating body by means of centrifugal of force and quenched to carry out granulation effectively by mounting disc rotating body with disc positioned horizontally in a water tank and arranging water flowing out holes on the disc plane. CONSTITUTION:Scum is fallen and supplied from scum shoot 2 to a central rising part 7 of rotating body 3, and scum is then streamed down in thin firmly state on disc plane 8 of rotating body 3, guiding it by means of blade body 3a. At this time, on plane 8 thin layer of water is formed, being not to fix scum and plane 8. Thereafter, scum is thrown into water by means of centrifugal force to collide with rising water surface 27a, and then quenched, granulated and accumulated in the bottom of water tank 1. Granulated scum 29 is conveyed out of tank 1 via conveyer 28 if required. Furthermore, in addition to rotating body 3, impeller 16, first water stream guiding plate 17, second water stream guiding plate 20 etc. may be arranged to form rising water surface 27a effectively.
