Abstract

Bei der Feinvermahlung von Zucker ist das anfallende Feingut an den Oberflächen amorph und hygroskopisch. Im Überschuß aufgenommenes Wasser wird bei der anschließenden Rekristallisation frei und kann die Entstehung von Klumpen verursachen. Um dies zu vermeiden, sind bisher aufwendige zusätzliche Maßnahmen erforderlich. Gemäß der Erfindung ist eine Düse (8) zum Einblasen von Dampf in eine Mühle (3) oder eine daran anschließende pneumatische Förderleitung (6) vorgesehen. Durch Einblasen von Dampf wird die Rekristallisationszeit verkürzt. Am kegelstumpfförmigen Unterteil (16) eines Sammelbehälters (7), dem das Feingut zugeführt wird, ist eine pneumatischer Mischkopt (15) angebracht. Über den Msichkopf (15) werden in kurzen Zeitabständen Luftstöße in den Sammelbehälter (7) eingeblasen. Dadurch wird der sich ansammelnde feinvermahlene Zucker aufgelockert, während gleichzeitig die Rekristallisation abläuft. Das bei der Rekristallisation entweichende überschüssige Wasser wird ausgetrieben. Der Puderzucker kann in rekristallisierter Form entnommen werden und ist ohne weitere Behandlung lager- und transportfähig.
