The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a carrying option for small animals in which animals can at the same time also feel as comfortable as possible with an optimal, that is to say practically ergonomic, construction of the receiving device.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that the body is designed to have the shape of an egg flattened at the bottom and consists of the shell-shaped base part and the hood-shaped cover part that can be placed on it and fixed thereon, and that one that can be inserted into the base part, with one detachable arranged ceiling equipped shell is provided.

A further expedient embodiment provides that the shell which can be inserted into the base part has a shape which is automatically fixed when it is inserted into the base part and has a protrusion which facilitates access in relation to the upper edge of the base part. It has already been explained earlier that the shells should be replaced or removed for cleaning purposes but also when the small animal to be transported is changed. It then automatically slips into the optimal position when it is reinserted into the base part and cannot move out of this position even when the transport is unsettled. Due to the special shape of the shell in the area of the access opening or all around, the shell can easily be lifted out of the base part if this should be necessary as mentioned above. A handle surface is provided on the protrusion, which favors the removal of the bowl and also the reinsertion.

Since the blanket in the shell can also become dirty, this blanket must be cleaned, which is made easier by the fact that the blanket is detachably connected to the shell by means of push buttons. Other binding agents are also conceivable, but the push buttons have the advantage that such a combination only has to be applied in a few places, in order to nevertheless ensure an effective fixing and easy detachability of the blanket.

In order to additionally favor and secure the insertion and fixing of the shell in the base part, it may be expedient if the inner wall of the shell is roughened or provided with a coating which increases the friction, the coating being enriched with splintered carbon or spherical activated carbon. Such a coating can consist, for example, of soft plastic which is glued to the inner wall or forms parts of the inner wall. The coating has an advantageous anti-slip effect. The smell emanating from animals can cause no problems, in particular when being transported on the train or in other areas, since according to the invention the coating is designed to be enriched with broken coal or spherical activated carbon. This coating then removes the smell and possibly also liquid or the like which is separated from the animals. so that the environment can no longer be affected. The activated carbon, whereby the coal is also made of activated carbon, absorbs the corresponding pollutants in large quantities both in gaseous and in liquid form and prevents their influence on the ambient air or generally on the environment.

In the case of particularly strong-smelling animals, it can also be advantageous and necessary for the blanket to be made entirely or partially from a cloth material equipped with spherical activated carbon. This means that the entire blanket can absorb the smell or other pollutants, whereby the small animal can still perceive so much pollutant or odor residues that it accepts the blanket or the shell plus blanket as its own.

As a rule, the body consisting of the bottom part and the lid part is designed in such a way that fresh air is admitted to the interior of the body and cannot be prevented by the front closure. A targeted and particularly pleasant exchange of air for the animal is possible with the invention, however, because the closure is designed like a radiator grill and with its pronounced edge can be inserted into the access opening and latched therein, with violent pushing-through via ear-shaped projections being prevented. From the outside, these ear-shaped projections protrude in such a way that they represent the insertion limit for the closure, with the grille design always ensuring sufficient air access, even if the small animal sits directly in front of this access opening and settles there. Another way to optimize the transport of small animals is a cloth that takes the form of a tub-like storage box through an all-round wall, can be hung in the interior of the vehicle and has two differently designed sides that can be used as inside or outside. The transport device is suspended in the interior of the vehicle and is so compact that a wall protecting the animal is formed all around. In the event of sharp braking or an impact, the animal remains protected in the storage box and is therefore exposed to a significantly lower risk of injury. It is also impossible for the animal to jump out of the storage box while driving because the walls are of sufficient height. This means that the space remaining next to the storage box can be optimally used. The egg seal also serves to protect the seat covers and prevents direct contact of the animal with it, so that the vehicle interior cannot accept the typical animal smell. The cloth designed as a storage box has two differently designed sides that can be used as inner or outer sides, so it has two sides that can be used enough to meet different requirements. The outer fabric layer is semi-permeable in such a way that the fabric layer lets the odors through in the direction of the adsorption layer, but remains there until the adsorption layer is reactivated mechanically or chemically. The liquid-repellent side can be formed by a fleece, for example a needle fleece.

Another feature which is decisive for the safety of the animal to be transported is that the wall has openings which are suitable for carrying animal dishes and that a cover which can be detachably connected to the cloth is provided. The acceptance of the facility is increased by the fact that a textile base is provided which is interchangeable and easily z. The textile underlay can be used as a reversible blanket and, depending on the application, can be positioned with the liquid-repellent or the odor-absorbing side upwards. In any case, liquids separated from the animals are prevented from penetrating the surface. The liquids are bound in the textile composite and can be removed from there, for example, by brushing or combing them out.

With regard to the structure of the textile composite, it is proposed that the textile composite be formed by an adsorption layer arranged facing the liquid-repellent material side and an outer fabric layer. The layer with the actual adsorbent material is thus protected as part of this knitted fabric by an outer layer of fabric. The outer fabric layer is semi-permeable in such a way that the fabric layer lets the odors through in the direction of the adsorption layer, but remains there until it is reactivated mechanically or chemically. The adsorption layer is constructed in that the adsorption layer is formed by adsorbing elements bonded to a carrier material via an adhesive, a punctiform adhesive, preferably a polyurethane adhesive, being provided as the adhesive, and the odor-binding elements consisting of activated carbon. For this purpose, the carrier material, for example an intermediate layer of knitted polyester fabric, is first subjected to adhesive when producing the textile base, preferably in a dot form with a large surface area, so that the actual adsorption elements adhere well and can develop their action in a particularly suitable manner. The adhesive is an adhesive applied at regular intervals, preferably a polyurethane adhesive, to which the adsorption elements can form a particularly intimate and permanent connection. A high degree of efficiency for odor adsorption is achieved by the fact that the odor-absorbing elements consist of activated carbon. The spherical activated carbon elements adhering to the adhesive points not only ensure effective but also permanent binding of the odor-binding substances.

To protect the actual odor-absorbing layer from mechanical damage and to convey an attractive design to the textile base, it is provided that the outer fabric layer is made of a foamed mesh fabric with anti-slip effect and the liquid-repellent side is formed by a needle fleece. A certain level of convenience and security is also achieved for the animal, so that the textile underlay according to the invention is more effective than e.g. B. a wool blanket in principle has no disadvantages. The textile pad can be cleaned mechanically by brushing, tapping or combing, with water by hand or in the washing machine, or chemically, so that the odor can be reactivated easily. The needle fleece is highly liquid-repellent and also forms a suitable adhesive surface for the adhesive to which the odor-absorbing elements adhere.

A variation of the invention which is not known in the previous textile backing for animals is that in which the textile backing is equipped on both sides with fastening means, preferably a Velcro connection. This means that the reversible underlay can be fixed on one or both sides so that it cannot slip, even if the underlay lies with the smooth, liquid-repellent side down. Fasteners are also understood here to mean those which fix themselves when the textile base is put down. However, it is also conceivable to provide zippers, lacing or adhesive connections, with which the textile base can be fixed, for example, to an object or a holder.

The textile underlay can be equipped with any number of Velcro connections at different locations. However, it is particularly practical if the textile underlay is equipped with a Velcro connection in the area of its border, so that the underlay is secured overall against slipping.

Another advantage of the textile underlay according to the invention is one in which its high inherent rigidity is exploited by arranging the fastening means in such a way that when the textile underlay is positioned on a wall, at least one side surface corresponding to the wall is obtained, whereby it are expediently arranged in the region of a kink line. The invention also relates to a method for producing a textile base, a liquid-repellent layer being connected to an adsorption layer provided with activated carbon elements, whereupon the knitted fabric consisting of the liquid-repellent layer and the adsorption layer is laminated with a lattice fabric. First of all, the liquid-repellent layer is connected to the adsorption layer, for example by means of an adhesive, to which the adsorbing, preferably spherical elements are fastened by means of a point-applied adhesive. The knitted fabric consisting of the liquid-repellent layer and the adsorption layer is then laminated with a foamed mesh fabric.
