Abstract

The invention relates to a transport box (1), suitable for small animals, comprising an ovoid body (10), which is composed of a shell-type base section (3) and a hood-shaped cover section (5) that can be connected to the latter. A tray (13), which can be inserted into the base section (3), can be adapted to suit the individual animal by means of a covering (33) that is detachably connected to said tray. The transport box can also be configured as a textile and can be suspended in the interior of the vehicle by means of fixing elements (106). Either the textile (101) or a fabric backing (201) has a fluid-repellent coating or corresponding side (105, 202) and an odour-adsorbent coating or side (104, 203).
