Abstract
The invention refers to a totally dismountable and fitting transportation box for pets, in other words, all the parts can be fitted forming the set, dismounted fitted one inside the other, reducing them, the volume to be kept. It's constituted of ceiling (1), ground (2), right (3) and left (4) sideways, door (5), back (6), fixation screws (7) and manual pressure nuts (8). The fitting and disassembling operations are easily realized through the fixation screws (7), the manual pressure nuts (8) and the fitting tips (21 and 23) found in the superior and inferior parts of the door (5) and back (6). The referred transportation box for pets can also have as accessories bag for transportation (24), handle (25) fixed to the door (5) and casters (26) fixed to the ground (2) and, beyond that, be used as a house for pets.
Description
" DISMOUNTABLE AND FITTING TRANSPORTATION BOX FOR PETS" .
The current Utility Model refers to a transportation box for pets completely dismountable and fitting, having the same function of transporting pets with ir.aximum of commodity and, when kept, occupying the minimum of space, besides the advantage of being used as a house for pets too, due its technical features.
Nowadays on the market, there are two basic types of transportation boxes for pets, described as follows. The first type refers to a rigid box made of wood with plywood or eucatex. Besides of being very heavy, it also has the disadvantages of can't be washed properly because of the material used in the manufacture and are not well ventilated. Its single advantage is the lower price. The other model refers to a box divided horizontaly into two halves with their fixation made at the existent edges alongside of its horizontal perimeter. Its door fits when the box is assembled through existent fitting holes in each edge. It's a very rational project and the proof is the fact of being the most divulged model in the world. Its single disadvantage is bein.c dismountable only in its horizontal half, because in spite of one half fits in the other, the volume obtained is equivalent half of the initial. Don't being continuous its use, it must dispose a reasonable space to keep in when out of use.
On the purpose of reducing this volume to be kept, it was developed a dismoun able transportation box for pets whose project was registered in Brazil under number KU7301401. With this model, being all the parts of the box ( ceiling, ground, sideways, beck and door), dismountable among themselves, it got a reduction at about 1/3 of the final volume to be kept in relation to the initial volume. However, as all mentioned parts have different dimensions,
they didn't fit being just placed one upon the others. Because of this, the final volume was not so smaller in relation to the model mentioned before. Besides that, because its components have differnt dimensions, there was necessity of being done a different manufacture line to each component, what economically was bad.
On the intention of solving these inconveniences, it was developed the present Utility Model, which in Fig.l is shown fitted in perspective and in Fig.2 in exploded perspective. In the last one, are seen the ceiling (1), the ground(2), the right (3) and left (4) sideways, the door(5), the back(6), the fixation screws(7) and the manual pressure nuts(8) that form the box.
The ceiling (Fig.3) has the format of a tray with a rectangular base(9), being this one tied by all sides to boards (10) inclined at 45 (Fig.4) in relation to the base(9) and tied among them by edges (11) that have the format of a lateral regular pyramid of squared base (Fig.5) in which, in its center is found the hole (12) meant for the passing of the fixation screw(7). Parallel to the base(9) and tied to the boards (10) and edges(ll), is found, also, the covering edge (13) where are seen the back fitting holes (14) in its back part and the door(15) and lock(16) fitting holes in its front part. Fixed to the base(9), is found, also, the handle (17). The ground (Fig.6) has the same design, dimensions and holes of the ceiling, being different only because it doesn't have a handle (17) but feet basis (18) , if necessary.
The right and left sideways as seen in the Fig.7 have also the same design, dimensions and holes of the ceiling and of the ground, excepting the covering edge (13) and its respective holes(14,15 and 16). There is also the possibility of being done openings for ventilation( 19 ) .
The door (Fig.8) should be done in metallic crate for better interior ventilation. Its format is rectangular with the sideways boards(20) inclined at 45 to fit with the boards(lθ) of the sideways and the same ones make use of as doorposts. In one of the sideways boards (20), in the superior and inferior parts, are found the fitting tips (21). After the box is assembled, these tips function as a hinge in the action of opening and closing the door. On the other lateral board(20), are found in the superior and inferior parts the locks(22). They, when closed, fit in the holes(16) existents on the ceiling and on the ground (Fig.3 and 6), making, this way, the operation of closing the box.
The back (Fig.9) has the same design and dimensions of the door, with the difference that there are no locks(22) but fitting tips(23) spreaded along the superior and inferior parts. This gives a best locking of the back because these tips(23) fit perfectly in the existent holes(14) on the ceiling and the ground (Fig.3 and 6). The idea is completed when is emphasized that the back can be done closed or opened ( metallic crate) as seen in the drawing. In this case, there is no necessity of having openings for ventilation (19) in the sideways because, in that case, is created a direct flow of air what really improves the internal ventilation of the box. According to the fitting sequence, place (Fig.10, 11 and 12) one of the sideways(4) perpendicular and internally to the ground(2) and putting the screws (7) in the holes (12) inside out, the operation is completed using the manual pressure nuts(8). This procedure can be observed in a general view in perspective found in Fig.13. Likewise, as seen in Fig.14, proceed in relation to the other sideway(3). This done (Fig.15), fit in the ground(2), the door(5) and the back (6). Finally (Fig.16), lies the ceiling(l) over what was set
up and, being the door(5) opened, insert internally the screws (7) in the holes (12) and screw them externally by means of the manual pressure nuts(8). It is observed, also' that Fig.13 to 16 show in a illustrative way in perspective the sequence of fitting the set. Another form of fixation would be used if the same meet the solicited necessities in a efficient way. The door(5) and the back(6) will be automatically locked after the laying of the ceiling(l) therefore the fitting tips (21 and 23) on the door(5) and the back(6) fit on the holes located on the frontal (15 and 16) and the back(14) parts of the ceiling(l) and of the ground(2). On the contrary happens the disassembling operation. It's worth to say that beyond the four principal parts fit one inside the other, also the door (5) and the back(6) are fitted together with the other parts and , this way, it's gotten a disassembling final volume extremely reduced and that can be packed in a bag for transportation 24) to be furnished as an accessory as seen in Fig.17.
Also as accessories can be put a handle (25) fixed to the door(5) and casters (26) fixed to the ground(2), with the purpose to obtain a more confortable box locomotion for the user (Fig.18).
