Definitions

  • the present invention belongs to the field of biotechnology. Specifically, the present invention describes a new polypeptide, a human GARP protein 12.98, and a polynucleotide sequence encoding the polypeptide. The invention also relates to a method and application for preparing the polynucleotide and polypeptide. Background technique
  • proteins in the body There are a large number of proteins in the body. These proteins are divided into various large protein families according to their structural characteristics. Members of the same protein family often have one or more conserved structural and functional motifs. These structural motifs are highly conserved in evolution and are important active centers for protein action, usually determining the function of the protein. For example, the immunoglobulin-like oop structural motifs, cysteine-rich repeat sequence fragments, and tyrosine kinase domains are some common structural motifs that determine the role of the protein in the protein. There is also a class of proteins in the body whose protein sequences contain a conserved LRR structural motif. These proteins are widely distributed and contain members of the protein family from yeast to humans.
  • This structural motif is a structural motif rich in leucine residues, which is mainly involved in regulating protein-protein interactions.
