Abstract

Reaktor (1) zur partiellen Oxidation eines kohlenwasserstoffhaltigen Gasgemischstromes, insbesondere in einer mobilen Reformeranlage (2), umfassend ein Gehäuse (3) mit einer Innenfläche (4) sowie einen Wabenkörper (5) mit einer Eintrittsstirnseite (6) und einer Austrittsstirnseite (7), wobei der Wabenkörper (5) zumindest teilweise von der Innenfläche (4) des Gehäuses (3) umschlossen und für den Gasgemischstrom durchströmbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Wabenkörper (5) an der Austrittsstirnseite (7) mindestens eine freie Abströmfläche (8) zur Wärmeabstrahlung hat, die zur Innenfläche (4) des Gehäuses (3) hin ausgerichtet ist, und die Innenfläche (4) bei einer Temperatur von 600 °Celsius einen Emissionsgrad grösser als 75% hat, vorzugsweise grösser als 80% und insbesondere grösser 85%. Da bei der partiellen Oxidation zumindest kurzzeitig Temperaturen bis ca. 1300 °Celsius erreicht werden und der Wabenkörper in diesem Temperaturbereich vestärkt Wärme abstrahlt, die von dem Gehäuse absorbiert wird, ist ein derartig ausgeführter Reaktor gegen eine Überhitzung des Wabenkörpers geschützt.
