- Bidose type dispensing devices are well known. They find their application in particular in the nasal distribution of medicament, and in particular of vaccine.
- two elements are generally provided, one supporting a reservoir and the other supporting the piston. When compressed axially towards each other, the first half dose is ejected through the dispensing orifice into the nostril.
- the stroke of the piston is stopped at half its length by a shoulder, and to carry out the second part of the stroke, i.e. distribute the second half-dose, it is necessary to rotate manually the piston element with respect to the reservoir.
- This type of system is safe and precise but requires relatively complex handling and therefore the use of two hands to obtain the result and to be able to distribute the two half-doses successively in the two nostrils.
- the use of two hands to successively distribute the two half-doses in the two nostrils may in certain cases not be desirable, and in particular it may be necessary to have one hand to for example hold the head of the child to whom the product is administered.

More precisely, the energy accumulated in the hand of the user is suddenly released from a predetermined force, said predetermined force exerted by the user on the actuating element 5 therefore overcoming said means for accumulating d energy and thus ensuring the total distribution of each respective half-dose by providing a sudden and rapid thrust on the dispensing member 8.
- the energy storage means comprise an elastically deformable tab 50, at the end of which is advantageously a lug 51, said tab 50 cooperating with a part 55 of body 1 so that said leg only deforms when it is subjected to the predetermined force exerted on the actuating element 5.
- these means of energy accumulation can be produced in a different way, but it is preferred that these means of energy accumulation do not have breakable material bridges.
- the storage means of the present invention are intended to be arranged between two elements of the device moving relative to each other.
- the energy storage means are arranged between the actuating element 5 and the body 1.
- these energy storage means can be produced in a different way, for example by means of bosses which can be overcome or elastically deformed by said predetermined force exerted on the actuating element 5.
- the present invention by its combination of features consisting in providing a system which can be actuated laterally with one hand on the one hand, and which provides means of energy accumulation on the other hand in said hand which actuates the device, guarantees a reliable and total distribution of each half-dose in each nostril of the user, guaranteeing the impossibility of accidentally distributing the two half-doses in the same nostril, the device of the invention being simple to manufacture, to assemble and to use, while ensuring total reliability.
