Abstract

L'invention concerne une cassette pour le logement de pièces à traiter plates (12), par exemple de plaquettes de silicium. Cette cassette présente un corps (1) avec des côtés (4, 5, 6, 7), une ouverture (7) sur un des côtés du corps, des guidages (8), de préférence des rails de guidage, pour le logement et la séparation des pièces à traiter plates empilées, un dispositif de verrouillage (9) pour le maintien des pièces plates dans le corps (1), un mécanisme de couplage (10), de préférence un couplage cinématique, pour le couplage de la cassette à une unité réceptrice de cassettes, et un émetteur de signaux (11) pour l'identification de la cassette.
