Definitions
- the invention relates to a vehicle with a preferably closed, box-like structure, for example a semitrailer, the side walls of which are provided with at least one sliding rolling wall and at least one wing door and takes the priority of the German patent application 100 45 851.3, to which the content claims Reference is made.
- the body In the case of vehicles with a closed body, the body must be such that, with the least possible design effort and the least possible hindrance to the immediate surroundings of the vehicle, rapid and possibly complete loading and unloading of loads arranged, for example, on standard pallets is possible.
- German Offenlegungsschrift 23 62 224 describes a vehicle body with a rolling wall that can be moved over the entire body length and two wing doors arranged in the closed state on the same level as the rolling wall.
- the disadvantage of this side wall design is that the gullwing doors are arranged on the corner posts of the superstructure and therefore, when open, project up to their entire width over the profile of the superstructure. This leads to difficulties with the front gullwing doors, since the entrance to the cab can be blocked.
- tarpaulin structures In addition to accordion-type structures, there are also other types of tarpaulin structures, such as sliding curtains. These structures take a long time to release the tarpaulin and require support. zen of the roof for longer structures, e.g. a semitrailer. The cleaning of tarpaulins is complex.
- the invention is therefore based on the problem of creating a vehicle or a vehicle body with dimensionally stable side walls, in which the design effort is comparatively low and side loading and unloading is possible without side wall doors projecting significantly beyond the body contours.
- the invention proposes a vehicle body with a rolling wall which can be moved in the side wall plane and two wing doors, at least one of which is articulated on the rolling wall.
- the roller wall and the wing doors are in one plane, while the hinged wing door can be pivoted onto the outer surface of the roller wall when opened.
- the side wall consists of a rolling wall and two hinged doors hinged to its vertical edges
- the vehicle body according to the invention can also have more than just a rolling wall and / or more than just two wing doors.
- a further double door can be hinged to each of two double doors arranged on the outer edges of a rolling wall.
- the side wall can also consist of two rolling walls and two wing doors, one of which is articulated on the opposite edges of the rolling wall.
- the width corresponds to the two rolling walls together about the width of seven pool pallets, while the width of the double doors together corresponds to four pool pallets.
- Another possibility is a side wall with two rolling walls and one wing door on each vertical rolling wall edge, i.e. with a total of four double doors.
- the rolling walls on the one hand and the wing doors on the other hand can each have the same width in this case.
- the sum of the door widths can be less than half of the clear loading length, which leads to the following sequence, for example when loading with 11 pallets:
- the sum of the door widths can also be greater than half the inside loading length. This allows problem-free loading and unloading and reduces the moving of the rolling walls to a one-time process.
- rollers On the upper and / or the lower edges of the rolling walls there can be pairs of rollers, for example with roller axes running at right angles to one another or rollers arranged on a common axis. These rollers are preferably guided in a guide profile with a longitudinal opening for an axle journal.
- one or more rolling walls can be displaced transversely out of the rolling wall level, so that even jammed or wedged pallets pose no difficulties during unloading.
- the invention makes it possible to use a large number of rolling wall / door combinations with one or more rolling walls, since the articulation of the doors is not restricted to the posts.
- 1 is a side view of the construction of a semi-trailer with two rolling walls and 4 doors,
- Fig. 5 shows a similar partial representation with a different guide
- Fig. 15 different side wall constructions in a schematic representation.
- the semitrailer 1 with a length of, for example, 13.6 m has a structure 2 with a side wall 3 consisting of two rolling walls 4, 5, on the vertical edges of which a hinged door 6, 7, 8, 9 is articulated.
- the two rolling walls and the wing doors are in the illustrated, ie closed, state in a common plane; they are connected to one another via hinges, not shown, that the four doors can be pivoted through 180 ° until they rest on the rolling walls 4, 5.
- the width of the structure increases when the doors are fully open only by the wall thickness of the doors, so that there is no traffic obstruction when loading and unloading.
- the rolling walls 4, 5 are provided at the top and bottom with stub axles 10, 11, on which pairs of rollers 12, 13 and 14, 15 are arranged so that the roller axes are perpendicular to each other. Both pairs of rollers are each guided in a guide profile 16, 17 which is connected to the roof structure or the subframe of the trailer.
- the roller 12 takes up the roof load and the roller 14 the rolling wall load, while the two rollers 13, 15 serve to guide the rolling walls 4, 5 laterally.
- rollers 20, 18 with axes arranged at right angles to one another are located in the guide profile 17.
- the rollers 18 with the horizontal axis take on the wall load, while the rollers 20 serve to guide the roller wall 4, 5 laterally.
- 4 pairs of rollers and individual rollers can also be arranged on the upper edge of the rolling walls.
- the guide profiles 16, 17 are all provided with a longitudinal opening 21 through which the stub axles of the rolling walls can move when displaced.
- the rolling wall wing door construction according to the invention can be implemented in different ways depending on the total length of the structure.
- the side wall can consist of a single roller wall 4 with two wing doors 6, 7 (FIGS. 6, 11) or of two roller walls 4, 5, each with a wing door 6, 9 on the edges that are turned away from one another (FIG. 7).
- two wing doors 7, 8 can also be arranged between two rolling walls 4, 5 (FIG. 8).
- Another possibility is to provide one or more enlarged rolling walls 25, each with two hinged doors 26, 27 or 28, 29 connected to one another by hinges (FIG. 9). In this case, the two wing doors 26, 27 and 28, 29 lie one above the other on the rolling wall 25 in the fully open state.
- the increase in the width of the superstructure cross section then amounts to approximately two wall thicknesses or, with a further wing door 30, 31, three wall thicknesses.
- two rolling walls 4, 5 can also be provided on both sides with a wing door 6, 7 or 8, 9 (FIGS. 1, 10).
- the width of the two rolling walls 4, 5 together corresponds approximately to the width of seven pool pallets and the width of the hinged doors together corresponds to the width of four pool pallets in a structure suitable for accommodating 11 pool pallets in the longitudinal direction.
- the side wall construction according to the invention makes the entire loading area of the body accessible for lateral loading and unloading, depending on the position of the two rolling walls and the number of open double doors. When closed, there is a continuous, stable surface suitable for advertising purposes.
- the body is also suitable for refrigerated vehicles.
- the structure according to the invention does not require any stanchions for supporting the roof, even with longer lengths, because the body roof is always adequately supported by the rolling walls.
- the rolling wall introduces the roof load into the vehicle frame.
