Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil servant à appliquer des rayonnements thérapeutiques sur une zone de traitement dans un corps selon une dose de distribution prescrite. Ce système de chirurgie assistée par imagerie médicale comporte un système de poursuite de position permettant de poursuivre une position de la source par rapport à la zone de traitement et un système d'imagerie médicale servant à générer des images visuelles en réponse à des données d'entrée. L'invention concerne un procédé servant à appliquer une dose prescrite de rayonnements thérapeutiques sur une zone de traitement présentant une configuration géométrique arbitraire. Une image visuelle est générée, laquelle représente une distribution de dose prescrite dans la zone de traitement. Les rayonnements thérapeutiques sont appliqués sur la zone de traitement et une dose cumulative des rayonnements effectivement appliqués sur des points souhaités de la zone de traitement est calculée.
