Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur weitgehend isothermen Durchführung einer heterogen katalysierten Reaktion in der Gasphase mit hoher Wärmetönung, aufweisend mindestens einen Reaktorraum (101) mit Einlass (131, 141) und Auslass (143), wobei der Reaktorraum durch wärmeabführende Wände begrenzt ist, die einen im wesentlichen konstanten Abstand längs der Hauptströmungsachse eines Reaktionsgases von ≤ 30 mm aufweisen, der Reaktorraum mit Katalysator beschichteten Bändern (120, 132) bestückt ist, die Bänder in allen Raumrichtungen flexibel und für das Reaktionsgas durchlässig sind, ein Oberfläche-zu-Volumen-Verhältnis von 50 bis 5000 m2/m3 sowie eine gute Wärmeleitfähigkeit aufweisen, das Reaktionsgas den Reaktorraum mit einer Geschwindigkeit von ≥200 m?3 pro m2¿ angeströmte Fläche und pro Stunde durchströmt, und+auf der dem Reaktorraum abgewandten Seite der Reaktorwand ein Wärmeaustauschmittel strömt.
