Abstract
Un reactor catalitico para la sintesis de Fischer-Tropsch (50) comprende un modulo (70) reactor que define una multiplicidad de primeros y segundos a canales de flujo distribuidos de manera alternada, para transportar una mezcla gaseosa y un refrigerante, respectivamente. Una estructura (82) de catalizador permeable a gas, separable, con un sustrato, por ejemplo de lamina metalica, se proporciona en cada canal de flujo en el cual va a producirse la reaccion de sintesis. El modulo (70) de reactor se encierra dentro de un recipiente (90) de presion, la presion dentro del recipiente de presion se distribuye para que este a una presion sustancialmente a la de la mezcla de gas de reaccion de lata presion. En consecuencia, la totalidad de los canales de flujo dentro del modulo estan ya sea a la presion de su ambiente o estan bajo compresion; ninguna parte esta bajo tension. Esto simplifica el diseno del modulo e incrementa la proporcion del volumen de reactor el cual puede ser ocupado por el catalizador.
