Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Nukleinsäuresequenzen kodierend ein Protein mit Homogentisatphytyltransferase-Aktivität, die Verwendung der Nukleinsäuren zur Herstellung von transgenen Organismen, wie beispielsweisetransgenen Pflanzen mit erhöhtem Gehalt an Tocopherolen und Tocotrienolen, ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Pflanzen mit erhöhtem Gehalt an Tocopherolen und/oder Tocotrienolen, sowie die transgenen Pflanzen selbst.
