Abstract
Selon l'invention, le procédé de traitement de précision des deux faces d'articles plats au moyen du découpage consiste à déplacer l'article traité 3 (I 3) sur un trajet 'S' entre deux éléments de coupe opposés qui font partie d'outils abrasifs rotatifs diamantés (1, 2), de façon à le mettre dans la zone de coupe et à pouvoir traiter toute la superficie des surfaces dudit article. L'article (I 3) est placé dans une position de base au moyen d'un dispositif de base unique qui est situé en dehors de la zone de coupe, du côté de rentrée de l'article (I 3) dans ladite zone; pendant le traitement, cet article (I 3) peut être saisi par un deuxième dispositif de base, disposé de façon identique au premier, du côté de sortie de l'article (I 3) de la zone de coupe. En tant qu'outils abrasifs diamantés, on utilise des tambours diamantés dont la longueur des génératrices est supérieure aux dimensions maximales de l'article traité (I 3) le long de ces génératrices. Les axes de rotation des tambours diamantés sont orientés parallèles dans l'espace, de manière à ce qu'ils se trouvent dans le même plan que les lignes de contact entre les éléments de coupe des tambours diamantés et les surfaces à traiter de l'article (I 3). On introduit l'article (I 3) dans la zone de coupe en le déplaçant perpendiculairement aux axes de rotation des tambours. Le processus de traitement abrasif est effectué selon le schéma 'au passage'.
