Abstract

Ein kombinierter Schienbein- (2) und Knöchelschützer (1), bestehend aus einer die zu schützenden Bereiche des Beines (3) abdeckenden, hinterfütterten Schale (4) aus kompaktem Kunststoffmaterial und einem mit der Schale (4) fest oder lösbar verbundenen Polstermaterial (5) soll so ausgebildet werden, dass ein einfacherer Aufbau erreicht und trotzdem ein effektiver Schutz bewirkt werden kann. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass ausschliesslich das Polstermaterial (5) als einteiliges Bauteil sich über den Bereich der Schale (4) hinaus in den Bereich der Knöchel (6) erstreckt, so dass ausschliesslich das Polstermaterial (5) zumindest teilweise die Knöchel (6) bedeckt.

Description

Kombinierter Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen kombinierten Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer, insbesondere für sportliche Zwecke, bestehend aus einer die zu schützenden Bereiche des Beines abdeckenden, hinterfütterten Schale aus kompaktem Kunststoffmaterial und einem mit der Schale fest oder lösbar verbundenen Polstermaterial.
Ein Knöchelschützer der gattungsgemäßen Art ist beispielsweise aus der DE 295 00 630 Ul bekannt. Für verschiedene Sportarten, beispielsweise für Fußball oder Hockey, wird ein Schutz für Schienbeine und Knöchel benötigt. In der genannten Gebrauchsmusterschrift wird ein Schienbeinschützer offenbart, der eine kompakte Kunststoffschale aufweist, die mit Polstermaterial hinterfüttert ist. In dem Dokument ist vorgesehen, daß der Knöchelschützer mit dem Schienbeinschützer fest verbunden ist, wobei er für einen Schutz schlaggefährdeter Bereiche des Knöchels sorgt.
Aus der DE 297 06 358 Ul ist gleichermaßen ein kombinierter Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer bekannt, wobei dort jedoch vorgesehen ist, daß der Schienbeinschützer und der Knöchelschützer getrennt werden können. Ansonsten ist aus dieser Gebrauchsmustersehrift gleichermaßen bekannt, daß eine mit Schaumstoff hinterfütterte Kunststoffschale für den Schutz des Schienbeins sorgt.
Die Knöchel- und Schienbeinschützer der vorbekannten Art sind jedoch recht aufwendig ausgebildet. Zudem besteht die Gefahr, daß sich der Knöchelschutz und der Schienbeinschutz unbeabsichtigt voneinander lösen können.
Daher liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, den eingangs beschriebenen kombinierten Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer derart weiterzuentwickeln, daß ein einfacherer Aufbau erreicht werden kann, der trotzdem einen effektiven Schutz, insbesondere auch der Knöchel, sicherstellt. Des weiteren soll gewährleistet sein, daß keine unbeabsichtigte Trennung von Schienbein- und Knöchelschutz erfolgen kann.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe durch die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ausschließlich das Polstermaterial als einteiliges Bauteil sich über den Bereich der Schale hinaus in den Bereich der Knöchel erstreckt, so daß ausschließlich das Polstermaterial zumindest teilweise die Knöchel bedeckt. Bevorzugt ist vorgesehen, daß das Polstermaterial die Knöchel vollständig bedeckt.
Durch die erfindungsgemäßen Merkmale wird ein sehr einfacher Aufbau des Schienbein- und Knöchelschützers erreicht.
Da die einteilige Polsterung sowohl die Hinterfütterung der Schienbeinschale als auch den Schutz der Knöchel bewerkstelligt, kann auch kein unbeabsichtigtes Lösen von Schienbein- und Knöchelschutz auftreten. Durch die integrale Ausbildung der Polsterung als Dämpfungsmaterial für die Schale und als Polstermaterial für die Knöchel ist ein effektiver Schutz gewährleistet.
Bevorzugt ist vorgesehen, daß der sich über den Bereich der Schale hinaus erstreckende Bereich des Polstermaterials lappenförmig ausgebildet ist.
Der Schutz der Knöchel wird weiter dadurch verbessert, daß sich die lappenförmige Erstreckung des Polstermaterials in ihrem unteren Endbereich verbreitert.
Vorteilhafterweise ist der sich über den Bereich der Schale hinaus in den Bereich der Knöchel erstreckende Teil des Polstermaterials ellipsenförmig ausgebildet, wodurch eine wirksame Abdeckung des gesamten Knöchels erreicht wird.
Eine Verbesserung der Belüftung und der Gewichtsersparnis ergibt sich, wenn das Polstermaterial eine Vielzahl von Ausnehmungen aufweist. Hierbei ist insbesondere an eine runde, ovale, rechteckige oder wabenförmige Ausgestaltung der Ausnehmungen gedacht.
Als Material für die Polsterung kommt bevorzugt geschäumtes Polyurethan (PU) oder geschäumtes Ethylen-Vinyl-Acetat (EVA) in Betracht, wobei das Polster mit einem Faser- oder Stoffgewebe bedeckt ist.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dargestellt. Die Figur 1 zeigt schematisch in dreidimensionaler Ansicht die Vorderseite eines mit einem erfindungsgemäßen Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer geschützten Beines.
Die Figur 2 zeigt ausschnittsweise die Rückansicht des verwendeten Polstermaterials.
Das skizzierte Bein 3 eines Sportlers soll sowohl im Schienbeinbereich als auch im Knöchelbereich geschützt werden.
Hierzu ist ein Schienbeinschützer 2 vorgesehen, der eine Schale 4 aus kompaktem - also hartem - Kunststoff aufweist. Die Schale 4 ist mit Polstermaterial 5 hinterfüttert, so daß eine weiche Auflage des Schienbeinschützers 2 am Bein 3 sichergestellt ist.
Wie der Figur 1 zu entnehmen ist, ist das Polstermaterial 5 über den für die Hinterfütterung der Schale 4 benötigten Bereich hinaus nach unten verlängert und reicht bis zum Bereich der Knöchel 6. Die Verlängerung des Polstermaterials 5 deckt also die Knöchel 6 zumindest teilweise, bevorzugt vollständig ab.
Hierfür ist das Polstermaterial 5 über den Bereich der Schale 4 hinaus bevorzugt lappenförmig verlängert. Wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich, kann das Polstermaterial 5 im Bereich der Knöchel 6 ellipsenförmig ausgebildet sein. Zur Versteifung der Schale 4 kann vorgesehen sein, daß die Schale 4 mit einem wabenförmigen Versteifungsmaterial versehen ist. Der gesamte Schienbeinschützer 2 wird - wie an sich bekannt - mittels Haltebändern, insbesondere mittels Klettverschlüssen am Bein 3 befestigt.
Wie ebenfalls bekannt, ist ein textiles Trägermaterial, d.h. ein Faser- oder Stoffgewebe, als Grundschicht für das Polstermaterial 5 vorgesehen. Das Polstermaterial 5 kann dann schließlich wiederum mit einem zweiten Faseroder Stoffgewebe bedeckt sein.
Als Kunststoffmaterialien für die vorstehend beschriebenen Komponenten sowohl des Knöchelschützers als auch des Schienbeinschützers kommen geschäumtes oder ungeschäumtes Polyurethan, Ethylen-Vinyl-Acetat, Polyamid, Polypropylen oder dergleichen in Betracht.
Die Dicke des Polstermaterials 5 - in Richtung senkrecht auf die Fußoberfläche - beträgt zwischen 3 mm bis 6 mm, vorzugsweise 4 mm. Die Shore-Härte A liegt zwischen 25 und 45, vorzugsweise bei 35.
Zwecks besserer Belüftung und zur Gewichtsersparnis kann das Polstermaterial 5 mit runden, ovalen, rechteckigen oder wabenförmigen Ausnehmungen 8 versehen sein, wie in Fig. 2 dargestellt ist.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Kombinierter Schienbein- (2) und Knöchelschützer (1) , insbesondere für sportliche Zwecke, bestehend aus einer die zu schützenden Bereiche des Beines (3) abdeckenden, hinterfütterten Schale (4) aus kompaktem Kunststoffmaterial und einem mit der Schale (4) fest oder lösbar verbundenen Polstermaterial (5) , dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ausschließlich das Polstermaterial (5) als einteiliges Bauteil sich über den Bereich der Schale (4) hinaus in den Bereich der Knöchel (6) erstreckt, so daß ausschließlich das Polstermaterial (5) zumindest teilweise die Knöchel (6) bedeckt.
2. Kombinierter Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennnzeichnet, daß das Polstermaterial (5) die Knöchel (6) vollständig bedeckt.
3. Kombinierter Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der sich über den Bereich der Schale (4) hinaus erstreckende Bereich des Polstermaterials (5) lappenförmig ausgebildet ist.
4. Kombinierter Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich die lappenförmige Erstreckung (7) des Polstermaterials (5) in ihrem unteren Endbereich verbreitert.
5. Kombinierter Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der sich über den Bereich der Schale (4) hinaus in den Bereich der Knöchel (6) erstreckende Teil des Polstermaterials (5) wenigstens annähernd ellipsenförmig ausgebildet ist.
6. Kombinierter Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Polstermaterial (5) eine Vielzahl von Ausnehmungen (8) aufweist.
7. Kombinierter Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausnehmungen (8) rund, oval, rechteckig oder wabenförmig ausgebildet sind.
8. Kombinierter Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Polstermaterial (5) aus geschäumten Polyurethan (PU) oder geschäumten Ethylen-Vinyl-Acetat (EVA) besteht, das mit einem Faser- oder Stoffgewebe bedeckt ist.
