Abstract

L'objectif de la présente invention consiste en une reproduction synchrone d'images vidéo, enregistrées numériquement, de façon parallèle, dans un dispositif d'enregistrement d'images vidéo (4) et issues de deux ou plusieurs caméras vidéo différentes (1, 2), avec des vitesses d'enregistrement différentes. Cet objectif est atteint en ce qu'une des caméras vidéo est choisie en tant que caméra </= maître >/= (1) comme référence temporelle, en ce que lors de l'appel des images vidéo enregistrées, issues des caméras vidéo différentes, l'heure de l'image vidéo actuellement reproduite, issue de la caméra </= maître >/= , est comparée aux heures des images vidéo enregistrées, issues de toutes les autres caméras (2) et en ce que l'image vidéo enregistrée, temporellement postérieure, à l'heure de l'image vidéo de la caméra </= maître >/= , issue des autres caméras vidéo, est toujours choisie pour la reproduction dans un champ d'écran (5, 6) associé à chaque caméra vidéo. Le procédé selon l'invention peut s'appliquer à un système de surveillance dans lequel un espace ou une zone d'espace est observé à partir de différentes perspectives, à l'aide des caméras vidéo placées dans différentes positions.
