Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte aux matériaux de construction et permet de produire des matériaux d'isolation thermique en mousse qui peuvent être utilisés dans les applications suivantes: dans la protection contre le feu de structures de centrales thermiques afin d'isoler les chaudières et les conduites de vapeur; dans l'isolation thermique de revêtements de structures de bâtiments; dans la finition interne de locaux à bord de navires ou de wagons pour passagers; dans la construction de chambres de stockage de légumes et de réfrigérateurs; dans des coffres-forts ignifuges; et dans des ascenseurs à l'épreuve des incendies. Cette composition à base de silicate permettant d'obtenir un matériau mousse d'isolation thermique comprend un liant consistant en du verre liquide, une matière de charge réfractaire consistant en des microsphères colloïdales creuses, un agent solidifiant contenant du silicium, et un agent de modification consistant en un mélange de sels simples de métaux alcalins et de sels de cuivre (II) contenant de l'oxygène. La composition comprend les ingrédients susmentionnés dans les proportions suivantes: de 2 à 5 % en poids d'un agent de modification; de 0,6 à 1,8 % en poids de sels simples de métaux alcalins; de 1,4 à 3,2 % en poids de sels de cuivre (II) contenant de l'oxygène; de 0,01 à 1,5 % en poids d'un agent solidifiant contenant du silicium; de 30 à 40 % en poids de microsphères colloïdales; le reste se composant de verre liquide.
