Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine grossflächige Anzeigevorrichtung, insbesondere zu Werbe- und Informationszwecken, mit einem Anzeigefeld (1), auf dem über eine Steuerung (10) schaltbar Wort- und/oder Bildbestandteile aufweisende Informationen mittels steuerbarer Anzeigeelemente darstellbar sind. Um eine kostengünstig zu fertigende und flexibel umschaltbare Anzeigevorrichtung zu schaffen, wird erfindungsgemäss vorgeschlagen, dass die Anzeigeelemente als mit einer elektrochrom schaltfähigen Schicht abgedeckte Farbpixel (7) ausgebildet sind.

Claims

1 1GEÄNDERTE ANSPRÜCHE[beim Internationalen Büro am 30. October 2000 (30.10.00) eingegangen; ursprüngliche Ansprüche 1-1 1 durch geänderte Ansprüche 1-10 ersetzt (3 Seiten)]
1. Großflächige Anzeigevorrichtung, insbesondere zu Werbe- und Informationszwecken, mit einem Anzeigefeld (1 ), auf dem über eine Steuerung (10) schaltbar Wort- und/oder Bildbestandteile aufweisende Informationen mittels steuerbarer Anzeigeelemente darstellbar sind, wobei die Anzeigeelemente als mit einer elektrochrom schaltfähigen Schicht abgedeckte Farbpixel ausgebildet sind, d a du r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, daß das Anzeigefeld (1 ) lagenweise aufgebaut folgenden Aufbau aufweist:
a) eine äußere durchgehende Trägerschicht (2), insbesondere aus Floatglas oder Polymerfolie;
b) eine auf der vom Betrachter abgewandten Seite der Trägerschicht (2) aufgebrachte, eine Elektrode bildende transparente leitende Beschichtung (3);
c) eine auf die Elektrode aufgebrachte Schicht (4) eines elektrochrom schaltfähigen Materials;
d) ein auf das elektrochrome Material aufgebrachtes, in einzelne Farbpixel (7) unterteiltes Materialkomposit (5), welches als Elektrolyt und lonenspeicher dient und 1 2
e) eine mit dem Materialkomposit (5) verbundene, diskrete Leiterbahnen (8) aufweisende Platine (9) zur elektrischen Ansteuerung der Farbpixel (7)-
2. Anzeigevorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß über die Leiterbahnen (8) der Platinen (9) jedes einzelne Farbpixel (7) separat ansteuerbar ist.
3. Anzeigevorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schicht d) mehrlagig als Elektrolytschicht (5a) und Farbpigmente aufweisende Schicht (5b) ausgebildet ist.
4. Anzeigevorrichtung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Platine (9) als mit Leiterbahnen (8) versehene Spiegelfläche (12) ausgebildet ist.
5. Anzeigevorrichtung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die die Farbpigmente (6) enthaltende Funktionsschicht (5) im Siebdruckverfahren aufdruckbar ist.
6. Anzeigevorrichtung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die die Farbpigmente (6) enthaltende Funktionsschicht (5) in einem Sprühverfahren auftragbar ist.
7. Anzeigevorrichtung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als elektrochrom schaltfähiges Material Wolframoxid verwendbar ist.
8. Anzeigevorrichtung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf der Rückseite der Platine (9) als Abschlußschicht des Anzeigefeldes (1) eine durchgehende Trägerschicht (2), insbesondere aus Floatglas oder Polymerfolie, angeordnet ist. 1 3
9. Anzeigevorrichtung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Steuerung (10) zum Ansteuern der Anzeigeelemente zu Dokumentationszwecken mindestens ein Speicherelement umfaßt.
10. Anzeigevorrichtung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Anzeigefeld (1 ) von der dem Betrachter zugewandten Sichtseite her über eine Lichtlenkplatte beleuchtbar ist.
