Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de direction pour véhicule, pourvu de dispositifs de commande électriques. Un angle de braquage donné du volant de direction (4) est transmis à un moteur de direction (1) électrique par une unité de commande (6), de façon que les roues directrices du véhicule (2, 3) sont amenées dans une position de direction correspondante, par le moteur de direction (1). Un élément de réglage (10) permet de communiquer à l'unité de commande (6) une position initiale souhaitée des roues directrices du véhicule (2, 3). Pendant ou après l'arrêt du véhicule, l'unité de commande (6) ordonne au moteur de direction (1) de placer les roues directrices du véhicule (2, 3) dans la position initiale prédéfinie.
