Abstract

Die aktive optische Filtereinrichtung, die sich insbesondere als Blendschutzvorrichtung zum Einsatz in Schweissschutzmasken, -helmen oder -brillen eignet, ist in an sich bekannter Weise mit einem Lichtschutzfilter mit mindestens einem aktiven optischen Filterelement und mit einer Elektronik zur Steuerung des aktiven Filterelements sowie mit einem mit der Elektronik zusammenwirkenden Lichtsensor und einer Stromversorgung, insbesondere einer Solarzelle, für die Elektronik und das aktive Filterelement ausgestattet. Die Ansteuerschaltung für das aktive Filterelement ist derart ausgebildet, dass im Bereich Der Rahmenfrequenz (1/T) von 0.01 bis 1 Hz der Lastkondensator kurzzeitig vollständig entladen wird, wodurch die Leistungsaufnahme im Vergleich mit bekannten Schaltungen halbiert wird. Gleichzeitig wird die Betriebsspannung (U) in einen Bereich gelegt, der quantitativ festgelegt ist und in welchem der Streulichtanteil der verwendeten Flüssigkristallanzeige durch diese Festlegung minimal ist.
