Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the tense feel of the eyes by mounting liquid crystals to the lens portion of the spectacles, intermittently applying voltage to the liquid crystals by way of a control circuit and a timer to alternate brightness and darkness thereby letting a man forcefully wink by that stimulus.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid crystals 3, 4 are mounted to the surface of the lenses 1, 2 of the spectacles and a control part 5 is mounted to the frame. In the control part 5, the voltage of a battery 8 is applied at every fixed time by way of a control circuit 6 and a timer 7. When the voltage is applied, the liquid crystals become opaque and the visual field becomes dark. In conformity with this, a person wearing the spectacles with wink intentionally. As a result of this, the tense feel of his eyes may be eliminated. A dial A 9 adjusts the period for which the voltage is applied to the liquid crystals and a dial B 10 adjust its application time.
