It is also not essential that Bl is constant over the entire length of the structure. The width of the meander can therefore vary within its structure.

- the previous concepts (F, mverted F, patch, microstrip and double-sided PCB antennas) all have the disadvantage that they either take up too much space (no compact integrated multiband antenna is known to date), or they can be tuned a multiband function is not easily possible.
- the antenna 4 shows a basic arrangement of the antenna according to the invention on the main assembly of a mobile radio device.
- the position of the antenna on or in the device is irrelevant, so it can be adapted to the device properties and type of application.
- the distance between the radiator element and the ground plane is important.
- the antenna has preference, two contact elements: a contact-RF contact and a ground ⁇ .
- several ground contacts are also possible in order to set a desired antenna behavior.
- the HF contact is ideally located at the beginning of the meander, but it can also be positioned at another location.
- a ground contact is optimally contacted somewhere on the Lange A3, but can also be positioned at one or, in the case of several ground contacts, at several other arbitrary locations.
- the parts of the radiator structure which are responsible for the radiation in a specific frequency range can be optimized with respect to the distance from the antenna ground.
