Description

Beschreibung description
Zur Montage in einem Kraftfahrzeug vorgesehene Anordnung von BehälternArrangement of containers intended for assembly in a motor vehicle
The invention relates to an arrangement of containers for storing liquids intended for assembly in a motor vehicle, the containers each having a wall with shell parts made of plastic by injection molding and welded to one another and each having a connection for refilling the liquids.
Such arrangements of containers are frequently used in today's motor vehicles, for example for a window cleaning system or for a fuel tank, and are therefore known. The various containers are used, for example, to store different cleaning fluids or for fuel and two-stroke oil. The production of the containers from shell parts manufactured by injection molding has the advantage that the containers can be easily adapted to the space available in the body of the motor vehicle and that they have a high degree of stability.
A disadvantage of the known arrangement, however, is that the containers are complex to manufacture and assemble in the motor vehicle.
The invention is based on the problem of designing an arrangement of containers of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that they can be produced particularly cost-effectively and are easy to assemble in the motor vehicle. This problem is solved according to the invention in that one of the shell parts is designed to delimit several containers.
With this design, two containers can be provided with a common shell part and thus designed as a structural unit. Subsequently, several containers can be easily installed in the motor vehicle in one operation. Thanks to the invention, for example, fuel and water can be stored in a common structural unit of two containers. This is advantageous, for example, in vehicles with fuel cells, since they require two or more containers for the fuel supply. Here, one of the containers is used, for example, for storing fuel, another container for storing water and a third container for storing a fuel-water mixture. If the liquids are to be mixed in the containers, only very short lines or valves inserted into the shell parts are required. Since the shell parts are each made of plastic by injection molding, they can also be provided in one piece with stiffening struts or beads to increase stability and common fastening means. Therefore, arrangements with very large containers can be provided with a common shell part. As a result, the arrangement according to the invention is particularly cost-effective. Filter material such as activated carbon can also be filled into one of the containers.
According to an advantageous further development, two containers can be produced from a total of two shell parts if one of the shell parts is made in one piece with at least one partial region of a wall arranged in its central region and if the wall is welded liquid-tight to form a further container part. This arrangement according to the invention requires fewer shell parts and thus fewer tools than the known one, so that their manufacture is particularly inexpensive. Of course, the shell parts can also have several walls to form several containers.
A particularly large number of containers can be produced with two shell parts if one of the shell parts is designed to be wavy in a longitudinal section.
The arrangement according to the invention is structurally particularly simple if one of the shell parts is flanged to the shell parts of another container to produce a container.
According to another advantageous development of the invention, a second container can be easily arranged within a first container if the shell parts carry spacers for fastening a second container. This design also reduces the outward penetration of flow and gushing noises from the inner container. Furthermore, this design reduces emission of fuel vapors from the inner container.
According to another advantageous development of the invention, the tool costs for the shell parts are further reduced if the connections for refilling the containers are arranged on a common shell part.
To further clarify its basic principle, several of them are shown in the drawing and are described below. This shows in 1 shows an arrangement according to the invention with three containers in longitudinal section,
Figur 2 eine weitere Ausführungsform der erfindungsgemäßen Anordnung in einer Schnittdarstellung,FIG. 2 shows a further embodiment of the arrangement according to the invention in a sectional illustration,
Figur 3 eine erfindungsgemäße Anordnung eines doppelwandigen Behälters.Figure 3 shows an inventive arrangement of a double-walled container.
Das untere Schalenteil 5 ist wellenförmig gestaltet und hat an seiner Außenseite Stabilisierungsstreben 15.Figure 1 shows an arrangement according to the invention with three containers 1-3. The containers 1-3 each have a connection 4 for filling, for example, a liquid and two common shell parts 5, 6 made of plastic by injection molding. The shell parts 5, 6 point to their Contact points each liquid-tight welds 7-10. These welds 7-10 can be produced, for example, by melting the surfaces of the shell parts 5, 6 intended for welding and then pressing the shell parts 5, 6 together. In order to keep the areas for the outwardly facing welds 7, 10 particularly large, the shell parts 5, 6 each have a flange 11, 12. The lower shell part 5 has fastening tabs 13 for mounting the arrangement in a motor vehicle. The upper shell part 6 has two vertical walls 14 for separating the containers 1-3. The lower shell part 5 is wave-shaped and has stabilizing struts 15 on its outside.
