Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bowl-shaped element, in particular to a shower tray or tub.
  • shower trays, tubs and similar bowl-shaped elements can currently be designed as drawn or pressed, enamelled parts made of steel.
  • Such shower trays or tubs made of steel have sufficient stability to carry people, but special measures are required to reduce noise.
  • the metal removes the heat from the water relatively quickly, so that the water temperature, for example in a sheet metal tub, drops considerably in a short time.

  • the required stability is achieved in that a reinforcing plate made of pressed wood is placed on the underside of the shower tray or acrylic plate.
  • the pressed wood panel is a ground material that is mixed with synthetic resin and results in a so-called medium-density or high-density panel, ie a medium-density or high-density fiberboard. Abstract
