Abstract

In einem Verfahren zum Herstellen von Isolierwolle werden flüssige saure Schlacken, wie z.B. Müllschlacken, Schlacken aus der Verbrennung von RESH oder Schlacken aus der NE-Metallurgie mit einer Basizität CaO/SiO2 zwischen 0,15 und 0,5 und einem Al2O3-Gehalt von 10 bis 25 Gew.-% sowie 2 bis 15 Gew.-% Eisenoxiden bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Schlacke über ein Schleuderrad und/oder mit Gas oder Dampf getriebene Strahldüsen geleitet und anschließend kontrolliert gekühlt.
