Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'identification d'un véhicule (F1), selon lequel le véhicule transmet des données, dans un faible rayon d'action, vers au moins une balise (3). Sur la base de ces données transmises et des données d'un capteur (51), la transmission de données et la position du véhicule peuvent être affectées à l'intérieur de la zone de communication. A partir du signal de transmission de données émis par le véhicule (F1) et reçu par la balise (3), on détermine une vitesse relative du véhicule au niveau de la balise. Le capteur (51) fournit immédiatement des informations sur la vitesse et la position du véhicule. A partir du ou de plusieurs facteurs de vitesses, on détermine la voie et donc la position du véhicule (F1) émettant les données. Ce procédé convient particulièrement au prélèvement automatique de taxes autoroutières et au contrôle de l'autorisation de circuler de certains véhicules.
