Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de formation d'un jet de type gaz-gouttelettes, lequel procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: accélérer un flux de gaz dans une buse à dynamique des gaz; introduire un flux de liquide dispersé dans le flux de gaz pendant le processus d'accélération de ce dernier; et enfin, accélérer le flux à deux phases ainsi obtenu dans un injecteur. La pression du gaz à l'entrée de la buse, ainsi que la concentration relative de liquide dans le flux à deux phases, sont choisies en fonction de conditions établies qui permettent de créer des flux de type gaz-gouttelettes capables de franchir une distance supérieure à 50 m. Cette invention concerne également une installation permettant de créer ces flux de type gaz-gouttelettes, laquelle comprend des systèmes (1, 2) d'alimentation en liquide et en gaz, ainsi qu'une buse à dynamique des gaz (4). Cette dernière comprend à son tour une chambre (3) de mélange du liquide et du gaz, ainsi qu'un canal profilé (7). Afin de mettre en oeuvre ce procédé, il est également possible d'avoir recours à une buse annulaire. La longueur du canal profilé (7) doit égale à au moins 5 fois le diamètre de la section critique de la buse.
