Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à la génération de jets très concentrés, de longue portée et constitués de gouttelettes finement dispersées. De tels jets peuvent être utilisés pour la lutte contre les incendies, pour l'irrigation des cultures, et dans d'autres secteurs nécessitant l'utilisation de jets de gouttelettes gazeuses finement dispersées et de longue portée. L'invention a trait à un procédé de production d'un jet de gouttelettes gazeuses, qui consiste à fournir un liquide le long de l'axe d'un jet de gouttelettes gazeuses, la dispersion du liquide s'effectuant en plusieurs étapes : l'on génère préalablement un flux biphasé de structure effervescente en introduisant une dose de gaz dans le liquide, puis l'on soumet le mélange à la cavitation ou à des ondes de choc, et l'on mélange le liquide dispersé avec la partie restante du gaz. L'invention concerne également un dispositif de génération d'un jet de gouttelettes gazeuses, qui est doté d'une chambre destinée à la formation d'un flux biphasé de structure effervescente, laquelle est placée dans une chambre (1) destinée à la formation d'un flux à gouttelettes gazeuses biphasé, est reliée à l'orifice d'admission de liquide (2) et possède un orifice d'introduction de gaz (5).
