Abstract

L'invention a trait à un procédé et à un appareil permettant de conditionner hermétiquement, à l'aide d'une matière thermoplastique imperméabilisée, un article que contient une enveloppe close. Ce procédé consiste à plier, sur la moitié de son axe longitudinal, une bande étroite de cette matière laminaire thermocollable imperméabilisée (12), à insérer l'enveloppe close (14) contenant l'article entre les parties superposées de ladite matière, à former un scellement transversal antérieur (42), à partir de ladite matière pliée stratifiée ainsi qu'à former un scellement longitudinal partiel (43) aux bords libres superposés, à former un scellement transversal postérieur à partir de ladite matière pliée stratifiée puis à parachever le scellement longitudinal des bords libres superposés et à couper la bande de matière stratifiée le long de son scellement transversal.
