Machine selon la revendication 5, caractérisée en ce que les moyens de guidage sont constitués par un canal d'aspiration au travers duquel la bande élastique (1) est aspirée, ledit canal d'aspiration comportant une première section (5) guidant la bande élastique (1) le long d'une face (4a) de la couverture (4) jusqu'au premier orifice de passage (A), une deuxième section (6) guidant, le long de la seconde face (4b) de la couverture (4), la bande élastique (1) depuis ledit premier orifice de passage (A) jusqu'au second orifice de passage (B) et une troisième section (7) guidant la bande élastique (1) de nouveau le long de la première face (4a) de la couverture (4) de telle sorte qu'entre la première section (5) et la deuxième section (6) dudit canal, la bande élastique (1) est guidée au travers du premier orifice de passage (A) et qu'entre la deuxième section (6) et la troisième section (7) dudit canal, la bande élastique (1) est guidée au travers du second orifice de passage (B). 6.
