Abstract

The blank has two side panels (2, 3) separated by a folding line (4), and a glue lap (5) separated from one panel by a folding line (6). Two bottom panels (7, 8) are separated from the panels by folding lines (9, 10). The panel (7) has a main part (11) and a foldable part (12) separated by a folding line (13). The panel (8) is coupled to the foldable part to form a base of a case. The blank is made up of transparent material. Description

The invention relates to a blank for the production of a case for

  bottle or the like, a folded case made from such a blank, a case set in volume from the folded case and a set comprising such a case.

  The invention also relates to a method of producing a folded case, a method of producing a case set volume and a method of producing an assembly comprising such a case.

  Bottle packaging or the like is known. These packaging io take for example the form of a rigid canister volume.

  Such packages, however, have several disadvantages. Indeed, the rigid canister, because it is volume, is bulky and requires significant transportation and storage costs.

  The invention aims to overcome these disadvantages by providing a blank for the realization of a case, to form a folded case that is flat whose volume requires only few steps easily achievable.

  In addition, the canister generally has a round bottom, the blank according to the invention can reproduce such a background from a folded case glued flat.

  Referring to Figures 1 and 2, there is described a blank 1 for the realization of a case for bottle or the like. Such blank is made in one piece of a sheet of thin material and rigid for folding such as cardboard or plastic material. That is, the material is rigid so that it can retain a content without great deformation, but has some flexibility to fold the material to shape it.

  The case may be for receiving any other type of content, such as textiles, cosmetics, tableware, etc. In one embodiment, the blank 1 is made of a transparent material.

  The blank 1 comprises two lateral panels 2 and 3 of substantially rectangular or trapezoidal shape. The height of the side panels 2 and 3 corresponds substantially to that of a bottle or the like. The side panels 2 and 3 are separated by a fold line 4.

  A gluing tab 5 is adjacent to one of the side panels 3 and separated therefrom by a fold line 6. The height of the glue tab corresponds substantially to that of the side panels 2 and 3 and its width is largely lower than that of the side panels.

  By folding the fold lines 4 and 6 and by gluing the gluing tab 5 on the side panel 2 to which it is not adjacent, the two side panels 2 and 3 are associated and the body of a case is defined.

  The blank 1 comprises two bottom panels 7 and 8, respectively adjacent to each of the side panels 2 and 3 and separated therefrom by a dividing fold line 9 and 10. The two bottom panels 7 and 8 extend therefore on the same side of the blank 1 and are intended to be associated with each other so as to form the bottom of the case. The two bottom panels 7 and 8 are of similar shape, for example ovoidal, oblong or spherical, and of substantially the same dimensions. Other forms of bottom panels can be envisaged according to the shape that one wishes to confer on the case, such as square, rectangular, triangular shapes. In this case, the geometry of these shapes have rounded and non-sharp corners.

  The side panels 2 and 3 are of substantially identical dimensions, their width is for example substantially equal to half the circumference of the bottom panels 7 and 8.

  The bottom panel 7 comprises a main part 11 and a folding part 12. These parts 11 and 12 are separated by a fold line 13 intended to allow folding of the panel 7 on itself, by folding the folding part 12 on the main part 11. The fold line 13 substantially forms an axis of symmetry of the bottom panel 7 and is substantially parallel to the separation fold line 9, separating the bottom panel 7 of the side panel 2.

  The dividing fold lines 9 and 10 extend above the lower edges 14 and 15 of the side panels 2 and 3. The length of these fold lines 9 and 10 is substantially smaller than that of the lower edges 14 and 15 defining the width of the side panels 2 and 3. The bottom panels 7 and 8 each comprise a strip 16, respectively 17, of substantially complementary shape to the portion of the side panels 2 and 3 extending between the separation fold lines 9 and 10 and the lower edges 14 and 15.

  The blank 1 comprises means for holding the bottom when the case is placed in volume. By means of maintaining the bottom means that these means can maintain the bottom in place when the case is set volume, that is to say that the bottom does not deform when a content is inserted into the case .

  According to a first embodiment, shown in Figure 1, the bottom panels 7 and 8 each comprise a tensioning joint portion 18 and 19 with the side panels 2 and 3. The tensioning joint portion has a substantially trapezoidal shape whose small base is formed by the separation folding line 9 and 10 and whose large base is formed by a fold line 47 and 48 substantially parallel to the separation fold line 9 and 10. tensioning joint 18 and 19 corresponds substantially to the band 16 and 17. The tensioning joint parts 18 and 19 and the dimensions of the side panels 2 and 3 and bottom 7 and 8 form the means for holding the bottom when the contents of the holster is supported on the hinge parts 18 and 19 in this first embodiment.

  According to a second embodiment, shown in Figure 2, the side panels 2 and 3 comprise slots 20 disposed near the separation fold lines 9 and 10. The bottom panels 7 and 8 comprise tabs 21 distributed over the periphery of the bottom panels. The geometry and the distribution of these tongues 21 are arranged so that the tongues 21 are inserted into the slots 20 during the setting volume of the blank. Slots 20 and tabs 21 form the bottom holding means in this second embodiment.

  According to an embodiment shown in Figure 1, the bottom panel 7, comprising the fold line 13, comprises cutouts 22 and 23 of substantially semicircular shape extending from the fold line 13 in the main part 11. Thus, the collapsible portion 12 comprises extended areas between the fold line 13 and the cutouts 22 and 23, which makes it possible to increase the bonding surface of the collapsible portion 12 on which the bottom panel 8 is intended to be stuck, as will be described later.

  According to an embodiment also shown in FIG. 1, each lateral panel 2 and 3 respectively comprises a folding trace 24 and 25 extending in the upper part of the lateral panel, starting from the upper edge 26 or 27 and substantially in the center of this one. The folding traces 24 and 25 are substantially parallel to the fold line 4 separating the side panels 2 and 3 and their height is much lower than that of the side panels 2 and 3.

  Still according to this embodiment, the blank 1 comprises lid panels 28, 29 and 30 for forming the lid of the case by folding. These cover panels 28, 29 and 30 extend from the upper edges 26 and 27 of the side panels 2 and 3 and are separated therefrom by fold lines, respectively 31, 32 and 33. The fold lines 31, 32 and 33 extend respectively between the fold line 6 and the fold trace 25, between the fold trace 25 and the fold line 4 and between the fold trace 24 and the lateral edge 34 of the side panel 2 The fold lines 31, 32 and 33 are substantially perpendicular to these folding traces 24 and 25.

  A re-entrant tab 35 may be adjacent to one of the cover panels 28 and separated therefrom by a fold line 36 located opposite the fold line 31 separating said cover panel 28 from the side panel 3. The re-entrant tab 35 is intended to close the lid by being inserted between the cover panels 29 and 30 and the side panel 2 when the case is set in volume.

  Other forms of cover are also conceivable as well as a case without cover.

  According to an embodiment also shown in Figure 1, the side panels 2 and 3 comprise perforations 37 disposed in their upper part respectively on the fold line 4 separating the side panels 2 and 3 and on the fold line 6 separating a side panel 3 of the gluing lug 5. These perforations allow the association of a strap. Each perforation 37 is intended to receive the end portion of a strap.

  The strap may be of any known type, such as a string, a ribbon, a rope or cord and or a strip of plastic material forming a handle. The strip of plastic material comprises, for example, recesses at its end portions. These recesses can be introduced into the perforations to ensure the attachment of the strap on the case.

  According to an embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the blank 1 may comprise at least one tab 38 for closing the case projecting from the upper edge 27 of one of the side panels 3 and separated therefrom by a folding line 39. The tongue 38 is provided with a cutout 40 intended for the insertion of a closing projection 41 provided on the other side panel 2. This projection 41 is for example formed by a cutout in the panel 2. According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the blank 1 comprises two tabs 38 and two projections 41.

  Still according to an embodiment shown in Figure 2, each side panel 2 and 3 comprises at least one perforation 42 of strap association. Each perforation 42 is intended to receive the end portion of a strap. Each side panel 2 and 3 comprises for example two perforations 42 allowing the association of two straps. As mentioned above, the straps can be of any known type.

  Referring to Figure 3, we now describe a folded case 43, made by folding and gluing a blank 1 as described above.

  The method of making such a folded case 43 comprises the following steps: providing a blank 1 as described above; fold the blank 1 according to the fold lines 4 and 6; associate the glue tab 5 to the side panel 2 to which it is not adjacent by gluing; associating the bottom panels 7 and 8 by gluing the bottom panel 8 to the collapsible portion 12 of the bottom panel 7; arranging the bottom panels 7 and 8 between the side panels 2 and 3 by folding the dividing fold lines 9 and 10.

  This gives a folded case 43 glued flat, as shown in Figure 3 according to the first embodiment. Such a folded case 43 comprises a substantially flat body 44 formed by the side panels 2 and 3, folded and associated with each other by means of the gluing tab 5 and a bottom 45. The bottom 45 comprises a bottom panel 7 and a bottom panel 8 associated with the collapsible portion 12 of the bottom panel 7. The bottom 45 is disposed between the side panels 2 and 3 so that the case 43 is substantially flat.

  By placing the folded case 43 in volume, a case 46 for a bottle or the like is obtained. The method of setting the volume of the folded case 43 comprises the following steps: providing a folded case 43 as described above; to volume the folded case 43, the bottom 45 being deployed under the effect of the folding of the folding part 12.

  Indeed, the setting volume of the folded case 43 causes folding of the collapsible portion 12 on the main portion 11 of the bottom panel 7. There is then a spring effect which automatically sets the bottom 45 in place.

  A case 46 for a bottle or the like is thus obtained, as represented in FIG. 4, comprising a body 44 and a bottom 45. The bottom panel 7 is folded on itself along the fold line 13 and the other panel 8 is associated with the collapsible portion 12 by gluing. The bottom 45 extends substantially perpendicular to the side panels 2 and 3 of the case 46.

  The body 44 may have a substantially cylindrical, oblong or ovoidal section depending on the shape of the bottom 45 and possibly the lid. Other forms may also be considered.

  The body 44 may also have a substantially square, rectangular or triangular or other section. This section is likely to be variable on the height of the case, for example, the bottom may have a triangular shape, while the upper portion may have a rounded shape.

  According to the first embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 4, the bottom 45 is stiffened by folding the tensioning joint parts 18 and 19 and the introduction of the content bearing on the tensioning joint parts 18 and 19 .

  According to the second embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the tongues 21 of the bottom panels 7 and 8 are inserted into the slots 20 of the side panels 2 and 3 so as to stiffen the bottom 45.   According to an embodiment not shown, the case 46 comprises at least one strap, each end portion of which is inserted respectively into each perforation 42 of the side panels.

  By inserting a content in the case 46, there is obtained an assembly comprising a case 46 as described above and at least one element, such as a bottle or the like, inserted into the case.

  According to the first embodiment and as described above, the dimensions of the case 46 may be arranged so that the case 46 is fitted around an element inserted in the case. For example, a case of diameter substantially equal to that of the bottle that is to be packaged is provided.
