It is known to mutually couple bricks with openings using reinforcing rods which are placed through the openings placed in line, in order to strengthen the mutual bond of the bricks. Such constructions are for instance used at those locations where the danger of earthquakes is a factor which must be taken into consideration in the building industry. It is also possible to apply such constructions to manufacture panels of bricks. It has also recently been established that in the production of such bricks an energy-saving can be achieved compared to the production of classic closed bricks. This is because of the fact that due to the openings the surface exposed to the air is considerably enlarged so that a shorter drying time will suffice, optionally at lower temperature.

Abstract

Un appareil pour fabriquer des briques crues avec de l'argile comporte un moyen (10) permettant de réaliser des ouvertures cylindriques dans les briques. Ces briques peuvent être réciproquement reliées par des tiges, ce qui raccourcit le temps nécessaire à leur séchage. L'appareil comporte, un bâti (1) soutenant un transporteur à chaîne (2) qui se déplace dans le sens de la flèche P1, et sur lequel sont placées des rangées de récipients de moulage (3). Après l'alimentation, lesdits récipients de moulage sont transportés au-dessous du dispositif (10) permettant de pratiquer des ouvertures dans les briques crues dans les récipients de moulage. Ce dispositif (10) comporte un premier bâti (20) et un deuxième bâti (23) verticalement mobile. Le bâti (23) porte une pluralité de cylindres de coupe (27) et de dispositifs d'expulsion (28). En cours de fonctionnement, le bâti (23) se déplace vers le bas et les cylindres (27) prénètrent dans les briques. Lorsque le bâti (23) remonte, les cylindres (27) enlèvent la partie découpée des briques, créant ainsi des ouvertures cylindriques dans celles-ci.
