  • Connectors of this type are relatively cheap to manufacture, easy to assemble and disassemble and, importantly, compatible with radiators of existing design.
  • An additional advantage is that the connector allows rotation of the radiator connection 10 about the longitudinal axis of the tail pipe 12, making the connector compatible with pivoting radiators of the type described in UK Patent Application No. 9509955.2. This feature is due to the fact that the fit between the securing means 22 and the second tubular member 12 is loose enough to permit rotation of the former against the latter without loss of the seal.

Abstract

Connecteur pour éléments tubulaires. Le connecteur comprend un premier élément tubulaire (10) présentant une paroi intérieure cylindrique aboutissant à son extrémité extérieure avec un aboutement annulaire (16) orienté extérieurement.
