Abstract

The invention relates to a curved track (10) of length L, the rails of which follow a curved path such that end sections (16, 18) with changing radii of curvature extend from the main rail (12) and branch rail (14) respectively, starting with a radius of curvature r (r → ) and ending with a final radius R = constant. The end sections run into an intermediate section of radius R. In order to standardise curved tracks independently of their lengths, it is proposed that the intermediate section (20) should be of a length equal or approximately equal to that of each end section (16, 18).

Description

Beschreibungdescription
KurvenzugCurve
The invention relates to a curve of length L with a curved course of its rails in such a way that each end section of the main track or branch track changing its radius of curvature begins with a radius of curvature r with r → ∞ and with a finite radius R with R = const. ends, the end sections merging into an intermediate section with the radius R.
In the known curves, the end sections or the intermediate section are of different lengths and are each adapted to the individual requirements. As a result, the planning, construction and execution of a curve is complex.
The present invention is based on the problem of developing a curve such that the driving comfort of the rail vehicle passing through the curve is improved.
According to the invention, the object is essentially achieved in that the intermediate section has a length which is the same or approximately the same as that of each end section. The respective end section can have the course of a clothoid and the intermediate section can have the shape of a circular arc.
The teaching according to the invention simplifies the curve construction irrespective of the length of the curve itself divided three identical or roughly three equal parts, one section of which follows a true circular arc, whereas the remaining sections are constructed identically, starting on one side with a curvature of approximately 0, which merges into a curvature that that of the corresponds to the middle section.
This measure has surprisingly shown that favorable driving properties develop in the curve, so that driving through it is also possible at high speeds.
In order to further increase driving comfort, it is proposed that the length L of the curve is designed such that vehicles traveling through the curve with a medium speed V experience vibration excitation with a frequency v to the side when the curve is being passed , the relationship applies:
v insbesonderev in particular
V mit vorzugsweise 2 < α < 4, wobeiV with preferably 2 <α <4, where
t =t =
3 -V3 -V
By coordinating the length of the individual sections of the curve train with the vibrations introduced into the vehicles passing through the curve train due to the change in the lateral acceleration, which can also be referred to as the roll frequency, there is no additional vibration excitation along the course of the Kuvenzug, which can have a disruptive effect on the vehicles.
The teaching according to the invention is to be explained below purely by way of example with the aid of a representation from which further details, advantages and features result.
In principle, a single curve (10) with a length L is shown in the single figure, which enables a transition from a star track (12) to a branch track (14). The course of the curve (10), ie the track between the main track (12) and branch track (14), is composed of end sections (16) and (18) and an intermediate section (20).
The length of the end sections (16) and (18) and of the intermediate section (20) are chosen to be the same or approximately the same. This is symbolized in the drawing by 1/3 L.
The end sections (16) and (18) form transition arches, ie the radii of curvature starting from the main track (12) or branch track (14) begin with a value -> ∞ in order to decrease up to a finite radius of curvature R, which corresponds to that of the circular arc (20).
The respective length of the end section (16) or (18) and the intermediate section (20) is designed as a function of the average speed at which rail vehicles pass through the switch (10).
Unterstellt man, daß das Schienenfahrzeug beim Durchfahren des Kurvenzuges mit der Geschwindigkeit V eine Änderung der Seitenbeschleunigung erfährt, die in dem Schie¬ nenfahrzeug zu einer seitlichen Schwingungsanregung mit einer sogenannten Wank¬ frequenz v führt, sollte zur Optimierung des Fahrkomforts folgende Beziehung einge¬ halten werden: V t =Assuming that the rail vehicle experiences a change in the lateral acceleration when passing through the curve at the speed V, which leads to lateral vibration excitation in the rail vehicle with a so-called roll frequency v, the following relationship should be maintained in order to optimize driving comfort : V t =
3 -V3 -V
Insbesondere sollte die BeziehungIn particular, the relationship
4 α — v4 α - v
mit vorzugsweise 2 < α < 4 eingehalten werden. with preferably 2 <α <4.
